The E30 tick isn't that bad, just means you have to adjust the whatever you adjust, I thaught they were tappets. Mine had that god awful tick too. use it as a point to get the car for less.

Could be the brass nut at the back of the cluster, my fuel gauge use to dance about. tightning it fixed it.

$120 is good but, was at a guess, I couldn't supply dimensions. I just said, it wasn't a huge 6cyl engine, on a Pallet, that weighed around 120KG. I guess I could ask the seller to measure? it's a bit difficult to measure the engine whilst it's in the car heh

well... the fourth and fifth ratio on each box is the same, just the first - third ratios are slightly higher on the 240. Burnouts in ANY car is bad. not just for the gearbox either.

Hey, Does anyone know the dimensions of a M20 on a pallet? just thaught someone may have shipped one before and would know. Mainfreight reckons it will be around 120 dollars, I told them it was a smallish 6cyl engine on a pallet. and weights around 120kg. this site here suggests it's 117kg - http://www.bimmerforums.com/engine_faq.php The engine will have to be drained before shipping, so hopefully it's not going to cost more than 200 dollars to ship. cheers!
