Ugly Chrome Mags = Wrong. The kind of chromes you see on "da lowar'd hilux'z boi" flatpeak cap douchebaggery chromes are unnaceptable. the chromes that come on an E90 M3, Totally acceptable. (if you could really call them "chromes")

So, I couldn't open my bonnet today... turns out the cable has broken (the wee metal peice that sits in the plastic handle has broken off) Dad reckons we can solder another peice back on, But i need to remove the whole cable.... Where's the manual release? thanks.

You have too. I'm sure most good speakers would catch the window mechanisims... I've got a good idea on how I'm to do it, I'm just lazy. was about a 25mm spacer, so you do have to cut some of the door card.. (just so the magnet pokes through), then screw the spacer on. 25mm is my guess, will figure that out when I actually bother to do this also a hole for the tweeter, unless you have the behind mirror triangle peices. Heh, Electric Windows FTW!

As much as i've read, (smart people will correct me) an M42 from a e36 is a bit of work, and a waste of time (it's a 1.8 after all) and M42's from E30's are rare? would be easier to drop in an M20B25? or an M50
