an E30 Touring went recently on trademe for 5k, that was considered pretty cheap.

Yeah, +1 for getting an instructor... but get one that lets you take your own car. that was my big mistake, I lost heaps of points for sh*t gearshifts.

Could it be the Center Hanger driveshaft mount? I thaught it was brakes when mine went.

Thanks brent, my bit of rubber looks different to that one Though I decided to go for a little drive, and found European auto services, and the nice man there told me that it's for a Pre-Facelift then showed me it fitting perfectly onto a Metal airbox. Then continued on and said, "every time we get an E30 in for wrecking, the airbox is gone" Also there is a 325i Sedan, Manual with a Tech2 Kit, I never asked him about it, but I think it's for wrecking as the HSL had fallen off/dirty interior.

If you have an E30, 320i Facelift and have a factory airbox... Can you take a picture of the piping that goes toward the grill for me? I bought a peice of pipe, but doesnt' seem to fit... It may be the right part, I could just be missing another part. also, it has a sensor plug in it... Can't seem to find the plug lying about in the enginebay. Thanks, Michael

Any who, Class today is PowerPoint! how fun!
