Bimmersport aka Car Detectives

Exactly, the plate NL4330 was cancelled however he says that this is the plate on the car and it is but the plate isn't registered to the car. They have put the Mtech kit etc etc on this 325i, and also set up a personalised plate with the number NL433O, however put on the orginal plate of the REAL M325i. The odometer reading and the WOF expire are the same on the auction as the details on the plate NL433O. Sooooo this is a 325i with Mtech kit etc etc, not a genuine M325i. BUYER BEWARE

The owner let the rego laps for 5 or 6 years though?!Doesn't seem right to me. Agreed, something definetly doesn't seem right about it. First reged in 87 under NL4330, then the rego was cancelled in '91 and never registered again under the that plate. However, a similar car a 1987 325i was first registered on the same date but not as a M325i in '87. Then the plates come up as UX4409, then about a month later they changed it to the personalised plate. My guess is exactly what David said above. Wrote off the ORGINIAL Tech 1 then swapped all the parts over to a standard 325i. Someone has definetly gone to a hell of a lot of effot to pull this off. and BTW Ollie or whoever put the Bimmersport advertising on carjam. Very cool haha

Grahams Tech 2 Wagon just came up for sale, The Tech 1 you talked about in Auckland is a Bimmersport member, Saildad or something can't remember. and theres another 1989 Tech 2 on trademe aswell, don't like the wheels on it, well not on a Tech 2. I would buy Grahams Tech 2 Wagon, well maintained car, and dam its hot.

^ +1 Its f***ing awesome, good luck with the sale mate

The size of the city is mind boggling compared to NZ, but thats Europe for you. The main thing is its all built upwards aswell, where everything is 5 or 6 stories high unlike Auckland where its just spread out

Was a mint day today, so I decided to flag school and go to Barcelona to do some exploring. I had my first experience with pick pocketing though, at the train station I felt someone brush up beside me, and I thought that was kind of weird cause there weren't heaps of around and then I thought sh*t. Felt my back pocket and 20 Euro was gone because I had just gone to the bank to get some cash out, (I keep my smaller wallet with all my cards in it in my front pocket, but I didn't have my bigger wallet with coins and cash in it), I saw some short dude get on a train just as it was leaving he timed it bloody well to get on the train. Went back later in the day with a friend and his SLR got some good shots, he has a Nikon D70 and a Canon EOS 300d. Anyway heres a few pictures of Barcelona at its finest, Above the main Metro station - Placa Catalunya Looking back down Palacio de Montjuic Placa Espanya Placa Catalunya Last Weekend we went inside La Sagrada Familia amazing building really, to think it still has 26 years left of building (aproximately because they keep increasing it) and it was started over 100 years ago Graffti My friend's photos Another of my friend's photos

http://www.carsuk.net/gemballa-closed-by-german-authorities/ Found this quite interesting, I am sure most of you know who he is or atleast who the company are. They have been tuning performance cars for many years from the the Enzo to the Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Some fairly radical designs aswell. Well while on a business trip in South Africa Uwe Gemballa went missing, apparently his wife has received a phone call from his mobile demanding a ransom of 1 million Euro. http://www.gemballa.com/ Lets hope he is found or that this is just a rumour. Mods feel free to move this to news if you wish

^Neither. Can't log on when I am using Internet Explorer, well it logs me in and then comes up with that little screen saying you are now logged in as...., please wait a few moments and then when it goes back to Forum page it says I am not logged in. I'm using Mozilla now. And it doesn't have anything in the "What's happening in the forums"
