Does it look like this?
-
Tom e34 relays are totally different.
-
Go to a wreckers and ask if you can use a relay just to check it works. If it doesn't make a difference clean the motor. I'd say its one of the two.
-
You tempting bastard.
-
sh*t your car is the sex Lucan. Awesome and not over the top. Edit: take all red off wheels and lower.
-
what's the problem? if it's just generally getting stuck half way or not working quite as it should on slow speeds its probably the motor and needs a clean and re-grease. If a certain speed is not working at all. e.g. intermittent isn't doing anything it's most likely the relay. E30s and E28s use the same relays so they are very easy to find.
-
on an E28 yes. On a E30, Probably. drivers side grill most likely.
-
close this before it becomes a bitch fest.
-
you probably just need to clean and re-grease the insides of the wiper motor. It's pretty easy, my dad could almost do it without my help.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-604282920.htm Same as e28 as btw

Seems the price has gone up. Lucky I have 2 Re: head unit, I will most likely replace it but will probably store it away for the coolness factor.
-
I bought it with rubmw down so after finding out it had LSD I was even more stoked.
-
I could lower it, convert it to manual and put my rs's on it and it will still only be 3.5k

I can honestly say I've never seen an e30 with wood trim before... Linky
-
Must just be down at the moment. Works for me all the time except now.
-
there is a e36 316i on trademe with a m52b28 transplant. The owner says the clutch is the standard one from the 316i. is this normal? I just assumed you would need a chunkier clutch plate etc for the m52.
-
wow, very cool...all bmw stuff please
-
picked up the donor boot lid from "Tanks for Everything" at least the donor 525i will have a fantastic death. some minor panel work needed + repaint. I had to leave my nice red one with the donor car so the tank had a complete car to crush :/
-
The main difference is that it sounds like a real car and not a large fart Yes 98 is best. As long as its not 91 you will get away with it.

Yes, I am still working on this project. However I discovered my E28 needs rust work and that takes priority over the engine rebuilt. A nice retired man is doing all the work in the next week or two for about half the price rustorations quoted but this is still about as much as it costs to rebuild an engine Anyway. Here is an update of what I have done - soda blasted and derusted the majority of things - painted most things - have a full list of what I need on pelican parts and have already ordered the things I need for the top and bottom end rebuild - just painted the block, timing covers, injectors... Ill change all the seals and gaskets on the block when things arrive and ill then put the head back together I also have another $800 worth of things to bring the car up to scratch. Hood lining, washer & coolant reservoir, hoses, nuts and bolts windscreen rubbers & chrome...I am also replacing all shifter parts and adding a Z3 shifter. I'm getting closer... and my boot lid is being exchanged for a rust free one tomorrow. It's cheaper to repaint a rust free lid.

yea but why put such collectable bmw up for sale with no WOF or Reg? It's going to deter a lot of people and probably for good reason.

lets just be thankful those are fridges, not cars.
