According to that article you have to drive a Hyundai in order to not be a douche bag. Korean build cars are the safe bet.

I get 14.5/100km all city driving in my 535i e34 on 98 And 18.5/100km all city driving on 95. Haven't tried 91 yet haha. 95 and 98 has a pretty noticeable performance difference too.

I would be pretty happy to help but my e28 is probably going to have no engine or only be close to finished. My e34 is pretty boring too. My brother has a mint e34. You should put your hand up mark

I like the steering wheel.

didn't remove any earths did you?

The first car i drove, both my brothers and I learned to drive in this: And the first car I bought

Love those wheels on the e30. Looks fantastic.

Am I ever. I only get a couple of hours every evening to work on it and waiting for parts holds me up too.

Sand blaster gun filled with baking soda from pack'n'save Not as efficient as some make out but it's good to save time and get into hard to reach places.

Just a few more updates... I'm doing as much as I can while waiting for another pelican order. New crank seal: New oil pan gasket, cleaned up the level sensor and installed, cleaned and installed oil filter housing with new gasket Did everything in my power to clean the intake manifold. Soda blasted + degreased + sanded + water blasted, all that was left was those spots which I believe is just oxidization. Wrinkle black manifold and rocker cover: I should have something that resembles an engine in the next week or two.

+1 this is what I wanted to do but I don't have the skills

Slowly but surely. Not as clean as some engines you see rebuilt but all the functional/ necessary jobs have been done. - cam re-grind - valves lapped - valve seals - 12 new rockers - rear oil seal gasket to be continued.

Pic 2 is the only angle that doesn't make the poor thing look awful.

I cant remember if my m30b34 had a plastic or metal impeller in the water pump. Anyone know what they came with factory?

Is purchasing a 20 year old E34 sensible for a new car owner?

Every car I've owned is a "death trap" according to dog and lemon. -
$5450, seems like a pretty high price considering it was a $1 reserve auction. A fair price I think.

turn on your engine and place your neighbours cat in the drivers seat. If it falls asleep you have a leak. If not, get the cat out before it tears up your seats.

parts are easy to find and no more expensive than any other 90s automobile. It's the fuel that costs you an arm and a leg -
I assume you mean re-profiled haha. I asked and he said they could but it would mean I'd have to modify other things too. I just took his word for it since he's the old man that restored engines for god knows how long. So everything is stock in the engine.

What camera/lens you using?

It's just you. This looks nothing like a Mazda 6 haha. All front lights look the same these days if that's what your looking at.
