When did people start buying cars they could afford to run? if you need it make it happen!

James Hunt had a nick name in the lower formulas he was known as " hunt the shunt". The movie i thought was ok [i think i read to much about it prior to watching n being a F1 tragic it was just a little hollywood i know they need to spice it up for dramatic purposes} any way prabably the best motor racing movie since what " lemams" ????

I do have some track experience [in single seaters] and i suspect i may catch the bug! i am just looking to get goodbang for my hard earned so please keep all the ideas coming [it really is a pity my kids are to old to sell for medical experiments] I will post photos of the car real soon. Hi everyone i am a brand new member and i am looking for your advice. I have a 2002 540i Motorsport and have just signed up to give myself a good scare at a couple of trackdays. what bang for bucks improvements do you suggest [lets assume a budget of say $2500/ to $3000] thanks.
