No, I think the guy worked for Electrolux. He drove it every day, but not far. New pic without monsoons

    Genuine Momo Wheel

How much for the wheel? Any idea how much a boss kit to fit it to an E30 would be?
  4. The rear muffler on my 330 is a stainless japanese brand (JASMA). Apparently very good - and looks good too, but it's drones at normal round town driving speeds. I've been told I've got two options, live with it - and turn the stereo up or drive faster, or fit the standard rear muffler at $1082 + GST + Fitting. I am interested to hear that you have found an alternative. Could we meet up sometime? I would like to have a look and a listen. I take it you work at Pitstop in Newmarket? Is the car there during the day?
  5. Why dis the E36??? Nuthin wrong with them I agree that a lot of e36s have been done (especialy young d*cks from otahuhu with their shiny wheels rice lights, 9" bigbores, and "fusion sounds" ) but the older model e30s are way done and gone aswell. They stil have their spark but they just arent doin it anymore. Its too bad the E36 is about to share the same fate. due to a suden drop in pricing. I agree, nothing wrong with the E36 - just so many around now. Good E30s are becoming harder to get (hint hint - buy mine) and E46s are still in the next price bracket. Also saw alot of E39s around over xmas.

    Christmas Pressie

Yes - the aerials are for the GPS and Yes they have now gone. There were two aerials on each side and a total of four cables (guessing this is for the four satelites that it looks for). It is an Alpine system and I don't know if it will work over here. Also taken off the monsoons, pig of thing to get off! The mirrors are standard as far as I know - unless someone knows different? (I don't intend changing them - spent enough money already...).

    Christmas Pressie

Flew to Christchurch to pick it up, then drove back to Auckland over 2 days. It is a 2000 330I motorsport. Has had adjustable Bilstein springs & Shocks fitted, 18" BBS wheels, Strut brace, & a S/Steel exhaust. Good trip back, only got one ticket.
  8. Will be selling the silver 1990 325I4se soon Manual 185k 4 door all SE extras mtech wheels, springs & seats custom exhaust new bilstines 10 disc cd alarm mint cond, 2x BMWCC concours winner Havent decided how much to let it go for yet
  9. No, it was'nt me. (the black one that is)
  10. Looking at the owners handbooks that came with both my 325's, they say 8.3 for the manual & 9.8 for the auto. I have timed the SE at 8.1 with a power chip fitted, but using a stop watch & the speedo is not very accurate. Have not tried the lighter M325 yet.

Sorry I pinched your car! I knew somebody else from Bimmersport had been to look at it but I didn't know who. Brent found it for me on Trademe. I drove to Rotorua the same day and bought it before anybody else had a chance to..... Cain drove me down a couple of days later to pick it up. I have done a bit to it. It is a completely different car now, and still alot more to do.

Manfield is a long way from Auckland, & the last 2 rounds were only 4 weeks apart. Hope to do the next 2. I think the BMWCC is doing the last one in December

My neighbours name is Terry (dont know last name). He started with Downers when GDC lost the telecom contract last year. I have done 2 rounds of the sprints at Manfield & hope to do 2 more this year. Great fun!! Yes I do spend half my life cleaning basketweaves. Cain, the black car went better at Puke than expected, so might be in for the next dyno day

I don't often get both cars clean at the same time, so I took some photos while it wasn't raining. The silver SE is a daily user and the black motorsport was bought to do a few rounds at the intermarque sprints this year and is being built into a track car.
  17. My wife & I both work, have no student loan, have no kids (and if we did we would not be allowed to smack them ) I am not gay, and she is not a prostitute. So what can Labour do for us?

    Tyre Choice

I have had the Yoko A539 on my 325SE, but not being directional you can't turn them around on the rims. So once they're worn on the inside (and they will if your car is lowered) they are stuffed. Apart from that they were quite good, & very good in the wet. I now have the Falken ST115's on, and I am very happy with them. The M325 has the formula R's on. No good for the road, very noisey.
