Nathan, are you springs yellow by any chance? I dont know what brand mine are, but i have eibach decals on my rear windows, and i have the same problems as you do.

I top up at gull, using its 98 with 10% ethanol. It seems to last longer (more mileage) and runs smoother compared to Caltex's or Mobil's version of 98 oct IMO.

If you wanna keep the donnor car under 3k for the car, +1 on mint shell. Dont get fooled by NZ new, they rust just the same, and the cost to fix it just piles on.

looks like bmw_m5 has an e30, feedback history shows some king spring purchase. His comments remind me of the S**T you see on youtube comments...pointless tasteless and immature. Very nice m3 btw, good luck with sale, wished i could save up 20k in 1year instead of 3.

If you are running 10mm spacers, they will go on prefect. They are 10mm longer than the standard BMW ones.

so 10mm or 15mm spacers? most 15mm i've seen are bolt on, but 10mm are mostly slip on. i chose slip on because its easier to sort out in terms of longer wheel bolts
-
I TOTALLY get what you mean. I had a b***h of a time getting spacers. I bought a set of those studs to fit 10mm spacer, coz i cant use the standard e30 stud nuts for the new wheels.

spacers need hubcentric rings/locators for cert and legal purposes. +1 on longer wheel studs

Wheel and tyre alignment specialists in Auckland
dubman replied to MrDevine's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
I got my alignment done at Eden Tyres, great service with a machine read out of your alignment details before and after. -
and ur right max, goes harder than my m40
-
I got an angle grinder max, if you wanna try that option.

i take my point back about speedo's, GPS' are more accurate after some googling, but in terms of demerit points and speeding tickets, wouldnt it be easier to defend yourself if you used the factory speedo reading as your defense?
-
if ur tyre size and rims match factory specs the speedo would be right. if not, the speedo would still be more accurate than the GPS.
