Im looking for the positive battery cable holder/cover and terminal from an e30 with the battery in the boot set up. any help would be great

Any m40 or m50 gearbox will work from e30 or e36

There is sooo much info on the net about things like this. If you know the lengths you need there are driveshafts out there that will work without having to cut them up and use a 6cyl shifter linkage as they are shorter and you shouldn't need to chop. Read e30wiki or search on here has been covered many times

just an idea of cost of having your driveshaft shortened at about $400 and you need to take him the whole shaft as ive just done this on my car, your best bet would be to take your front shaft to the likes of mosens and find a front half shaft that suits and will be a lot cheaper

I was thinking the same thing....they shouldnt need to be swapped as nothing except the pedal box and streering have been swapped, motor orientation etc is still the same???

you can also use a linkage from an astra and just get the top universal swapped over to the e30 one, have used this setup with my m60 http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/53409-e30-steering-guibo-delete/

Progress is slow at the moment as we are getting to the difficult parts of the build at the moment. All the driveline parts have been mocked up, drive shaft is out being shortened and balanced at the moment. Have refreshed all bushes in the shifter with delrin and added a custom built DSSR. the shifter feel now is fantastic now to add a weighted gear knob to finish the whole setup off. Have been spending the last few weeks trying to get the new exhaust manifolds built to work around the the steering shaft and be able to have them fitted to the engine before install. Will get photos up when the extractors are completed. Fingers crossed in the next two weeks the exhaust will be completed then i can haul the engine out for the final time to refresh everything and paint the engine bay. Picked up some E38 wheels from francois and fitted with some more appropriate sized tyres fitted them up and pushed the car out of the shed to see how the final fitment will be, quite happy with how its sitting now.

Use M52 headers as theyre stainless and then work the remainder of the exhaust from there

jibs05 on here has one in his swapped e30, or the other option is an e21 booster which luckily brent is currently wrecking atm
