  10. So going through all the processes of making sure im crossing all the requirements off the list as i go through this swap and need ideas on how you guys are running your front driveshaft hoop as it has to sit so close to the rear of the gearbox and shifter, trying to figure out how to mount it without interfering too much. If any of you guys have got pics would be greatly helpful thanks

I like the look of the new wheels gives a very cool circuit look, feel the rear tyres could be a little bigger in profile and a 10mm spacer to properly fill out the rear gaurd.
  15. I'm currently going through setting up my brake system and as the master cylinder is now behind the glovebox I am now looking at remote mounting the resevoir into the engine bay. My problem being finding hose suitable for the job as rubber seems to weep and silicone will dissolve. I have read pcv tubing will work but looking for something possibly a little nicer looking. Anyone have any ideas?
  16. Yeah that is expensive for the product. we charge (nissan dealership) $595 for paint and fabric add another $100 if its leather. the interior treatment is good if you have children etc as it makes spills alot easier to clean up and resists staining, but exterior paint protection i feel is a sham as you have to use their car wash and only wash in certain conditions and follow their instructions to the word or they wont cover. your better off giving your car a good polish every few months to keep the paint in top condition
  17. Yeah the nakamichi unit being 13+ years old is definetly a bit of a unicorn. who knows where they all end up but finding one overseas could be possible. Yeah its money that is a gamble if it doesnt work.....as im not sure how it all works and sometimes it looks like the audio is a seperate rca as well. Yeah the kenwood unit is good because it has all the features i want and is colour changeable with out being too stand outish, the other one i have found is a cheap chinese adayo unit on trademe that looks like it may fit in quite well and work ok....guess it comes down to how fussy your music taste is
  18. Yeah i was curious if it may be possible to use a DIN to RCA converter to change the input to aux? but i cant find any info other than on home systems. But that nakamichi unit is perfect, the kenwood unit is colour changeable so would suit too
  19. Just trying to figure out which way to go. Have found a period correct unit alpine 7288 w cd changer but I also like a good stereo sound and to play music off my ph. Trying to decide if I can mod to allow aux and just have to run amps or run a new age headunit that I can Taylor to match the dash was thinking of the kenwood KDC-x700bt.
  20. So im working my way through the mock up stage of my M60 swap into my e30 and have come to a hurdle on the power steering side of things as none of the factory lines will fit/work without manipulating the lines and im not comfortable with heating and bending the steel line that have already been bent. Has anyone else used stainless braided hose before or had custom hoses made, understanding the car is on jack stands so i dont think the enzed would be too pleased about getting in and out with it on stands. Any help would be great. cheerz
  21. As title states im looking for a mtech2 splitter. there were a few sold on here a while ago and someone may have one they never fitted ir collecting dust in their garage. cheers
