Actually, just having a think about it. With it being attached to the shock, it will in turn be roughly 40% stiffer based on leverage or lack of!
makes sense!

There are mounts on the shock for them, however from what I’ve read it doesn’t make any difference with them being mounted on the arm or the shock? The bar on the car was originally mounted to the arm so we haven’t changed it
is the a reason behind potentially moving it onto the shock?

so last wednesday we had the first shakedown in it!
all went well, but have a few things to change/work on as to be expected!
Locked diff or lsd to come, in order to combat spinning the inside rear when cornering after it becomes un weighted
rear wing to go on
bigger roll bars (adjustable ones are in the pipeline)
brake ducting is all complete!
inside is being painted this weekend
but for now, few more semi finished pictures, and some teaser pictures of a shifter that is coming to production shortly!

What class are you going to race in? Is the 17th April a test session or a race meeting? I would fully recommend a shake-down session before your first race meeting, I've seen so many cars turn up to a meeting after major work and have "teething problems" and have to go home after one or two laps - not good value for money at $400 a race meet.
just going to be doing canterbury car club meetings for now, the likes of pursuit sprints and stuff like that until we get a feel for it then will look at running with the rensport boys!
the 17th is just a trackday for us as a first shakedown run

How low are you going to be running the car? To get the real benefits from the diffuser it has to be scraping the ground which can be problematic on most NZ tracks as they are bumpy as hell.
still needs to have few folds put into it, and have the fins trimmed back. it will be sitting at about a 10 degree angle so it isnt going to be sitting flat like it sits in the photos, the short answer is te car is going to be very low
