  3. 600/650whp will be when running E85/map on the track. I'd rather not have to run semi slicks on urban roads! About 500whp on 98 Aparently which is more than enough.
  4. That would ruin all the fun! I guess turbo also makes for a better DD, more tq down low
  5. But what if the haters have a 650whp N54 and drag you in a 3th gear pull from rest? *wont need to shift ohh and I have nothing against an E46 M3, would happily have one in my garage for the windy roads
  6. Haha yeah it will grow on you just like SMG, the VW, the Audi and a number of other things
  7. It okay, I don't have a family of my own, children or toy dogs yet (sorry you beat me too it). So yes a 135i coupe that I can race around the track and daily drive is perfectly fine for me. If you check out the specs you lose about 3cm in width and 24cm in length, most of which is boot space... compared to the 335i Coupe. Check out the image below, my height has no difference between a 135i coupe and a 335i coupe. Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I rest my case. The term fruits car would probably be better suited to a convertible 1/3 series, or maybe an MX5
  8. Out of my price range and too much $$ to mod N/A. Going straight to FBO then Stage2+ Turbo upgrades if the early testers come out with good results. It won't be your regular M135i. Lets just say it is driven to it's potential most days
  9. The M5 is up for sale, give me a text/call on 021 140 7520 if you might be interested. 2005 E60 M5 SMG with Eisenmann Race Exhaust Full NZ service history, dealer service history in Japan up to time of import. Great condition. White exterior with Silverstone White Leather interior. 10. Can I call my M5 rare? Only 20000 were made!
  11. I've had a similar thing happen. Phone ended up being stolen. Ugh.
  12. Drove one for a year, (v8 version). Nice cruisers and definetly comfortable. However, only 330hp at the crank doesn't move the 2tonns around too quickly. Fuel was about 14L/100km average and I have quite a heavy foot Would hate to think how bad the 3.2 would be
  13. Shiny new A/C condenser went in and regassed. Pretty simple!
  14. You are obviously mistaken. It is clearly badged a "M4".
  15. Sad to see her go! Stilling going to TT your Lexus V8 and put into soarer?
  16. Thanks for the advice! I may look into the tuning side in the future..but for now the budget is a little tight for a few weeks! Suprisingly the front splitters don't seem to touch anything, at least not yet (I have about 10 speedbumps between work and home) And number plate wise, negative, BLUEFN was related to our old business name... Bluefin Technology. Although maybe I could sell it off to them!
  17. Already got one Only got back 2am this morning (sunday). Will take more pictures tomorrow hopefully! Maybe we'll have some dry roads for a change...Surprisingly the trip from Wellington to Auckland averaged me 11.5l/100km.. it was pouring down tho, so 110 cruise control the whole way.
  18. "Lil bro" ahaha... Says the one who is 5"0
  19. Hi All! So I've been persuaded by my 'adopted' sister to buy a BMW and join Bimmersport. Apparently you're a nice bunch, guess we'll have to see! So a flight to Wellington with us expecting to come back on our return flights didn't happen. Instead I got to drive this beast from Wellington to Auckland! What a trip. Basically I used to own an Audi A6 V8, plate: BLUEFN. You may have seen it around! However, time has come for a change which has seen me grabbing a 2005 BMW M5 E60 in Alpine White with Silverstone Leather! You may have seen it on Trade me. Any tips or tricks for the E60 M5 would be greatly appreciated as this is the first BMW I have owned (driven many obviously).
