  2. Very Extensively restored this car from what I've heard/seen. I think the price is well justified. A client of mine bought an unrestored m325i facelift for 25k that needs a whole lot more work than the one above. very healthy vehicle that White one
  3. Bump will consider any offers thrown at me so try your luck

  6. Not about being butt hurt, it's about what's fair to the prospective buyer who already struck an agreement with the seller. The seller has no integrity and neither does the snake that slithered in with a higher offer. It's about having integrity and being true to your word which it seems most of you are lacking. If you advertise something for a set asking price and someone offers you your asking price, it's a bitch move to cancel a verbal agreement that has already been agreed to by both parties when offered a higher sum by an "anonymous" party. It's about maintaining your integrity and sticking to your word. I feel sorry for the fella that lost out on the vehicles because of some snake and a buyer with no integrity. He would of in no way been ripped off if his asking price had been offered because he set the price not the initial agreed buyer. Some people need to learn about integrity and being good to your word.

  11. Dude that's what I been doing but it's been raining on and off so I can't always do it. sooo handy though
  12. You'd be looking at 11 and 15 for pcv bro. Use your vin and realoem if you get stuck. Definitely do the exhaust manifold. It's a relatively easy job. I removed the turbo and cleaned and inspected it too. Was in pretty good nick. The door handle carrier still hasn't shown up yet lol. Having to get in from the passenger side at present
  13. Saw this and was drooling
  14. I have had mine for 3 years now. Love it. In my ownership I have done the exhaust manifold as it blew and was making a whistling noise as well as fuming quite badly. I have also done both front driveshafts, the crankshaft vibration dampener which shat itself unexpectedly, also my viscous fan seized at 100kph snapping the front off my waterpump completely, so I did thermostat and waterpump, new radiator, new hoses, new viscous fan, haven't done the PCV/CCV which I feel I should get onto. Also I did the glowplugs, fuel filter, transfer case gear, intake manifold gasket, passenger side door handle carrier, (driver's one just crapped out lol), all diff fluids, transmission services x 2, the panoramic roof stopped working also so I did the mod to stop the rear one from working. Any tips you need don't hesitate to give me a yell. I love my 3.0d and I do about 150 ks a day round trip in it too.
  15. Drool, that's exactly how I am re-upholstering my convertible's interior
  16. Nope I had it insured for significantly less but they kind of shot themselves in the foot wanting to go for market value. Bare in mind I insured it 5 years ago and didn't ever update the sum insured. Lessons to be learned with everything
  17. Interesting thread. I think the value of a car is based solely on what someone is willing to pay for it. Some of you may know my old tech 1 baur which was written off in May, I got a significant amount of money back from insurance from it even though they wanted to go by market value. In my case they couldn't find one in our NZ market to compare it to so their vehicle valuer looked to the UK markets. Lets just say I got quite a bit north of 20k paid out for it. Depends on the vehicle also. the Motorsports do hold their value immensely. I have a client who's paid 25k for a tech 2 325i motorsport that's NZ New. absolutely immaculate condition though. The e30 market will continue to rise. They have become a cult car of sorts and a lot of young people love them.
  18. Hi guys. I am after a set of e90 drop hats to lower my e30 just a tad more. Happy to pay for freight from wherever. Contact SJ 02102916373

  21. that bottom lip looks amazing!
  22. Hahaha that's who I was going to recommend
  23. My recovery is going okay. Having a screwed shoulder is a bit debilitating to say the least. I may need an operation to correct it but I am trying to avoid that at all costs. My insurance is still taking their time with my claim. Apparently the valuer is having a hard time finding a car of comparable condition or model to value it against. He has sought information from overseas markets but the insurance company keeps saying they're waiting on him. Frustrating to say the least as I have secured a replacement vehicle which I need to pay for.
