Agree with you man. I love the tech 2 tourings for sure. The tech 1 vert is receiving a full back to bare metal respray and colour change, full interior retrim, new roof, freshly built motor, basically a restoration. Only thing that won't be factory will be the suspension and wheels. EDIT : And exhaust which I opted for a full Scorpion stainless system to go with my BTB stainless headers. Suspension is going to piss off a few purists but I got the airlift performance 3p3h kit only because I want to be able to raise and lower it accordingly dependent on the road I am driving on. I have also refreshed the rear subframe with super pro poly bushes and put in adjustable bolts for the trailing arms with poly bushes, new control arms for the front, new control arm bushes, everything will either be replaced or refurbished. Show room condition is the aim

I got offered 40k for my car last year before it was written off. I declined. I think that Tech 2 is beautiful. He actually brought it round here yesterday and I must say, she's a tidy one. But Tech 1 over everything for me

the value of these little cars is only going to increase. the engines themselves are strong, in fact I've seen them do 600k with minor issues, the auto boxes last a while if serviced regularly. also whats not to love? with a little bit of elbow grease this will come up beautifully. It's got such potential. I will attach pics of mine. for 1.5k I'd take it and run. I paid 5k for a 520i thats not running lol

I love them too! I'm so torn hahah I don't know which wheels to run on what car. I will be refurbishing the style 19s and then see. I will try both wheels on the e23 and e28 respectfully and see which one's tickle my fancy. Also on the hunt for some OZ futura's too hahaha

Haven't updated this in a while. But I bought some new wheels for her. She's gone through 2 sets so far. I have some genuine BBS rts as well as some genuine AC Schnitzer type 2s. I also lowered the e28 on spax springs and pulled all the old Bilstein shocks out as they were pretty poked and replaced them with Monroe shocks for now. I have sent the Bilsteins away to get refurbished. Also did the front lower control arms and bushings. I did end up buying another BMW. The 357 magic number is complete for me. I now have a 1980 735i too. Will add pics below. As well as a 123d as a daily. I have a problem I know. I currently have 2 e30s, 2 e28s, 1 e23, 1 e82 and 2 e83s. I ended up buying a complete e28 just for the mtech kit. I also have a manual conversion on the way for the 535i. Next mission is to find one for the e23. I may have to look overseas for that. As the title states. Came off my 123d M sport. No tyres as I used them on my new wheels. All rims have a bit of curbing but no biggie.
