My recovery is going okay. Having a screwed shoulder is a bit debilitating to say the least. I may need an operation to correct it but I am trying to avoid that at all costs. My insurance is still taking their time with my claim. Apparently the valuer is having a hard time finding a car of comparable condition or model to value it against. He has sought information from overseas markets but the insurance company keeps saying they're waiting on him. Frustrating to say the least as I have secured a replacement vehicle which I need to pay for.

So my e53 shat the speedo cluster, the speed and fuel gauges don't work. Ordered a new one from Germany. 000000 kms so will have to code it to my current mileage. Gotta love diesels haha

This happened to me too! They're relatively cheap though. If you need one I know a good source

Thanks Kyu. Honestly brother I'm completely heartbroken and there's a massive void to fill now but in time I shall get there man. Everything does happen for a reason indeed and I'm just hoping to bounce back stronger. I will most likely be building a mtech 1 325i convertible if I can't find a pfl baur again

I'll be back to it next week mate. You can't keep me down for too long. I'm already having withdrawels from work. The day it happened I went back to work and did front shocks and suspension on a clients e46 not knowing I'd sustained the injuries I had until getting properly checked out lol

I just have muscle tissue injuries, couple of tears etc but I should make a full recovery with some physio. No breakages thankfully. Moving is quite hard but I have to force myself to do it. Thanks mate for the well wishes. She was rare and is going to be hard to replace but atleast I'm alive.

I got moderate injuries man, both shoulders are screwed, right wrist, neck injury. Right leg injured but I hit the wall 3 times and got thrown around quite a bit. I should be fine in a week or so. I have 20 percent efficiency in my usual movements because of being thrown around so much but I'm alive. My heart is completely obliterated and a part of my soul died with that car but I am grateful I'm alive. Thanks man.

Mentally accepted I have to say goodbye to my boyhood dream car. Last week Wednesday I was cut off by a driver who proceeded to dead brake Infront of me to avoid a speed camera van fine so naturally I dead braked but as I did I veered to the left to avoid impacting him. Long story short my baby is now a write off. Met with a concrete barrier and bent the chassis front and rear without the chance of repairing. Looking for a replacement will be impossible because as far as I know there aren't many 325i baurs in NZ let alone mtech 1 variants. Hoping to buy it back from insurance and possibly buy a vert or another baur to replace and replicate this vehicle. It had every option from the maplight mirror to factory tweeters. No I will not be parting it out to sell.

Thanks Mate, it's our 3rd M Sport 325i Touring and by far the best. the last two met an early demise unfortunately. Sad to have to sell it but it just doesn't make sense having 4 cars in rotation, I'd rather 3 cars and motorcycle.

Up for sale is my wife's 2004 325i M sport Touring. Has the Alcantara interior, HID headlamps etc and a towbar. Has just done 150k with a lot of work done to it. New cooling system parts as soon as we got it at 145 k ( it's literally done 5 k in 1.5 years) including hoses, expansion tank, thermostat, waterpump and radiator. It's not practical for my wife being so low ( she prefers my x5). So up for sale it goes. Comes on staggered Style 66s with Bridgestone Potenza re003s all round. Mechanically it cannot be faulted as I am an enthusiast and mechanic. Looking for $9 k ono. No rush to sell. Has been fully serviced with new air,fuel and cabin filter, new drive belts etc. Has had a lot of preventative maintenance done. Also has a custom subwoofer and amplifier installed which doesn't take up room in the boot and sounds great. Has the rear cargo cover too. Just got back from Custom Coatings getting some love.
