    BMW E34

Thanks. The interior is almost done, just have to get the rear bumper painted and those skirts fitted. Then I can decide what to burn my money on next. Yeah somewhere there must be a pile of old M50B20's.

    BMW E34

So in the entire time that I've owned this car I've never detailed it. The paint is very good considering its now 20 years old but was a bit dull. So I decided to give it a wash and cut and polish. .
  3. I am after a full set (4) of BMW style 66 wheels for an E39. The tires need to have reasonable tread, not just barley warrantable. In Auckland and not sure about price of course it will depend on condition and tread.
  4. I have the dash, it is black. Non passenger airbag. I can't get it off the car until a few days I guess I am busy again. I'll upload a pic some time soon if you want. I have decided to keep my E34 and am using the door cards for my own car.
  5. Black leather E34 seats, all electronic adjustments work except that the drivers headrest does not move up/down (can hear motor spinning). Front seats have arm rests. Driver and passenger seat belt, and belt tensioner unit included. NOTE: The indent you see on the rear headrest is from something pressing against it, there are no rips or holes. $300. full set. Have listed them somewhere else also. Located in Auckland.
  6. Thanks for letting me know. The new link: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=918093496
  7. Bump, has been re-listed on TM. Is a very reliable daily for me, only selling because I will probably buy an E30.
  8. I have Vogtland springs on my E34, not sure how much use this will be to you (if it applies to their E46 springs or not), but thought I would share some info. The Vogtlands are really good for appearance (at least on my E34) and the ride quality is very nice, just slightly stiffer than OEM and still no bottoming out. Not harsh at all although harshness is maybe more dependant on shocks. However, they really are not performance type springs, H&R or Eibach are probably a lot better for stiffening up the car and improving handling as you want. Other than that the Vogtlands seem good in terms of quality and are perfect for my purposes. I also have an E46 with stock M-Tech shocks and springs (Family members car) and that seems like a nice compromise between comfort and performance for a road car (Personally I wouldn't want to go harsher on a daily driver).

M52B28 for anyone that was interested, using M50 intake and valve cover.. Took it for a short drive today, think I will keep it for the time being. It needs a few touches to finish it off (interior head liner, bumper paint, exhaust etc.), I think I'd feel better finishing it off and enjoying it for a while.
  10. Don't worry you are doing good by keeping two old cars running rather than getting rid of them and buying new.
  11. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-914808190.htm Removed now, but was some Mercedes listed as BMW

    BMW E34

Unfortunately I do not. I liked the look of the naked throwing stars so bought the wheels without the actual stars, I do have the centre caps/hub caps though. Also it was never my plan to sell this car otherwise I would have waited for wheels with the covers... still haven't made up my mind completely on weather or not to try and sell it actually.

Thanks, might be up for sale sometime soon. The E34 I mean, not the cat.

    My E34 528i factory manual.
  16. Selling my E36 323i, continues to be very reliable and dependable, but have too many cars, need to sell before I can buy something else like an E30 maybe. TradeMe link: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=911135211 Will consider offers. Maybe also trade for a facelift E30 coupe (4 cyl).
  17. Steering wheel - sold Lowered suspension - sold Drive train - Likely to be sold soon The guy who bought the lowered suspension and steering wheel left me his parts so the car is back together and is still mobile.
  18. Clear tail lights - sold Boot badge - sold Neutral safety switch - sold Interior - getting postage quote Still many parts available, front headlights are also in good condition, not smashed, clear side indicator lenses etc.
  19. I'm posting the last 7 digits of the VIN because some of you may be interested in checking it out in realOEM etc. It is: GE79439
  20. 3.15 non LSD. I've read people referring to the 530i diff as either small or medium case (usually medium). Either way it's not large case because it doesn't fit on the 540i. Sorry but I'm not 100% sure. I'll send you a PM. ------ Update ------ It's a medium case diff.
  21. Parting out an E34 530i auto, because it has cracked windscreen and expired rego. - Electronically adjustable seats. - Original BMW 15" basket weaves with roughly 50% tread. - Done 207,000Km - Engine and Transmission running well. - Wide grill and bonnet (facelift) - After market lowering springs (sits lower than my other E34 on 40/20mm vogtlands). - Can see the pictures for other details. Just ask for what ever parts you are interested in. Or if you want a picture of something. In South Auckland area. Some pics:

    Clarkson Sacked

Clarkson can be quite obnoxious, but it isn't Top Gear without him. The crazy adventures they went on is what I enjoyed the most from Top gear recently. Top Gear US, and Aussi both suck (In my opinion) which I think shows that it can't be replicated so easily. I like Tiff Needell but he isn't a right fit with the other two, and I don't think anyone else is.
  23. Yes, BS. Just another way for companies to save money while screwing people over in the process.
