  1. Isn't that a dogleg. Only say that because that Cosworth Merc 190E had one on top gear...
  2. Got some pics today =) Great Christchurch weather. Funiest car I've ever driven, even more fun today in the wet. Full Milltek Cat Delete on next week and maybe a chatter valve. =D Already been tuned by Hans =D
  3. Have a good one Johnoo!!!!!!! Jack
  4. My cars dead but even with motor in again I won't be driving it unless its a special event. Insane prices...
  5. I drive my race car everyday and its fine. Just adjust the shocks to soft..
  6. I sell them now. PM if you likeWesty: That's a whole new topic again it's been covered.
  7. Fraid not mate. Merc on its way out?
  8. Checky is a more appropriate word Glenn. 318 Touring is right. A jammer is only deemed illegal when it indefinitely jamms a cops laser. Jammers, atleast what we have fitted will jam the laser for round 5 seconds ( time to slow down ) then release the jam. Which at the moment is perfectly legal. If your not convinced Ring Rapid radio and let them explain it for you. As they have been selling em for years. Technical arguments on here round this topic usually end in a topic close And I'm sure this has been covered on numerous occasions.
  9. Easiest way to get more power would be to get a proper tune. Gavin @ Hi velocity or Hans @ NZ Performance Tuning....
  10. Our RS225 is in Christchurch if Renault want to ship it up I'll be keen

    Looks awesome! Lots of photos!!!!!!!
  12. So, starting to strip the car down, get it all tidied up, fixed for the winter series. We're pulling pretty much everything out excluding brake lines etc. I want to clean EVERYTHING up, get the car to a even more more more presentable than before but under the bonnet not just from the outside. So stripping car down ( started that today ) Auto Sparky is getting everything looking better, cleaning up the wires, putting lots of go fast switches in. Once I'm back from UK in early May, putting in a new race motor, which was raced in a fast car and its reliable I've been told so I can't wait to start working for it =D Then plan is to get into the winter series and finish some races =D Heres some pics from my half hours work today, examples of things that make the car look old and shitty and below of what the dash is going to end up like =D
  13. Go down the west side through King Country. Great roads, no truck traffic =D Best Roads I've driven so far.
  14. German Kolision Haus did 30k of insurance work on the old M3 and came out perfect. Great guys and very professional.
  15. Some awesome garden features you have sitting there
  16. haha are you guys in M3's etc seriously saying that when going down a hill in a 50 zone you brake to make sure you sit on 50? Model Citizens =P

Bring that track day forward =P Can't wait
  18. This one looks AWESOME!
  19. Its more round 125 Paul.... Wasn't me driving. Hences it being me taking the photo mate..... Just a little smart ass comment to put a rest to the argument. Cheap Radars hold just as much risk as going without one at all...
  20. Play it safe boys. Get a proper radar =) Auckland to Christchurch. Fines: $0 Although the Pic below was just a one off and it was a very long truck..... For passing cars and rolling along at 115 ( I'm sure you all do a little bit more ) etc Just take the blow and get one of these.
  21. I know with the stealth detectors they sense when the Police has his radar set on pulse (which means their radar pulses on off etc which catches out the majority of radar fitted cars but how many of these cars have the real good stuff fitted) the Bell StiR's and all the stealth high class detectors will pick up on the on off signal and warn the driver asap.I've only been driving for a couple of years now but if I speed its in Dad's car and its saved me every time. But to be honest, Im always on the look out, it comes with driving a race car every day ( don't want to draw attention ) but on the motor way I check when passing 'on ramps', gaps in the bush ( camera cars ), if I see a commodore/maxima I don't speed or I slow down from 110 to 100 etc. I know most of us with E30's etc need not worry with the good stuff but those with properly quick cars, lets face it this is the safest insurance.
