I love the 944. Mean little cars! I would have one if I didn't discover the E30 series. Great little car, love them a lot. Best 6k you could spend on a fast little euro coupe apart from a M325i =D

DOn't wanna veer off topic but whats wrong with the 944 Turbo I was looking at one b4 i got hocked on the series car. Mean turbo car for 7k. Clarkson's got one as well =D

Hey man im only 16 but had the same choice. Thing i came to was, if I got some Jap sh**box with a blow off valve ( which is one part I hate with a passion ) Society would look at me like a dangerous boy racer even if I knew I drive well and responsibly. Jap cars must be fun and fast for the coin i dunno never been in one but I don't think its worth be labeled a hoon and looked at by cops as a guy that would bury himself in a power pole half pissed. With the Bimmer you got people all over this forum like Glenn, Ray and Gavin ( not on the forum but a sponsor ) along with all the members that are out to help you, at no cost. The BMW won't get you looks and if you stick with the E30 or get a new one like me , they might have some problems but you got Glenn, ray etc who will help you fix it yourself or they'll do it for a good price. I would never have gotten a E30 with my lach of knowledge unless I knew people like Foxy, Glenn, Gavin, Andy (bmw3) etc And I know fck all about engines and the tech stuff in a car.. apart from the basics But yea BMW forum we're all going to say the BMW.

+1 I like the first pics with the CSL boot etc but I've never liked all the sound crap in boots of cars and aftermarket stereos etc. Wide body isn't the best but didn't make my eyes bleed..

Flick me a PM. I've done heaps of builds. All depends on what you want it to be used for... I recently built a computer up but I put Mac on it =D If you don't like Mac its easy to build a computer with Win 7 on it for you for under 1000, including monitor, keyboard, mouse the lot... The branded stuff i.e dell's are useless! Uncle bought a Compaq for 900 and it lagged and look hours to start after 2 weeks. Depends what your budget is but if you pay for the parts Ill build you up one free. Got a good store near by with heaps of parts cheaper than the normal stores.
