Little Update. Log book and homologation just arrived although they thought my name was jarod.... Cars at the garage, but if he doesn't find anything seriously wrong with it, I should be good for Hampton Next week if I can find some Koni's to hire and some wheels haha. Might just have to go take Dads car or watch. Hard for me to get round $2000 is less than 2 weeks.

BMW //M Sport Decals Pretty high quality, laminated, reflective umm look real good. $8 ea. Don't think thats a bad price, since thats how much a cheap sticker costs on TradeMe. For one decal only. You can buy 2 for $12 or 4 for $20 excl postage. You can choose if you want a BMW Logo or a M sport Logo. They will fit Europlates but only do this at your own risk as some members believe you could get fined, we have used them for almost 3 years and no problems. END OF STORY. Don't start a debate over this! Here's some pictures of the decals on Alex's ( Leebske ) M3 and Max's M3 I used these decals for my helmet and others have used them on their race cars...

ah thats really annoying. I need a new rear bumper as theres a pretty big rust hole forming. but sht, i was really hoping to improve on that.

ahhh serious? Thought in the regulations you could run any 3 series E30 body as long as you use the permitted engines. So wouldn't the panels be allowed if they were an original BMW product?

WTD: E30 Facelift front & rear bumper Done a barter deal with a signwriter so he's gonna cover the car and get it looking good so I want to get the exterior looking good so he can do it once not twice. ( Best get him do it once instead of doing it again when i get the facelift stuff) If you look at the photo the rear bumper and front is much lower down on the wheels if you get what I mean when my pre face lift rear bumper espically is high up on the wheels and I love the E30's when the back end sits low compared to the wheels if you get it. Hard to explain. Hope I described it enough. Heres how I want the panels on my car to look forget the signage he has on it.

Yea after about 10 mins it stopped while idling but after a hard revving there was a bit of it. Rung Gavin and he said if its just a bit then after a tune it should be good but he's giving the car a good inspection and giving me the list of things i should do before he tries tuning it, doesn't want to tune it unless everything is ok in that area. Said an airbox won't help that much at the moment but just need to get it running ok.

Almost forgot. My first half mechanical post. Cars been running for a while just after a overnight battery charge and its idling pretty high and has an reasonable amount of crap coming out the arse end. Would I be right in saying its the fuel mixtures and just needs a good tune or could it be something worse?

Pretty much ay. haha just doing what I can with my experience and funding. But car heads of on a trailer to Gavins on Saturday well its going to have custom seat mounts made for my driving position then to gavins for a while so he can do what he can when he can. Just want the car to be road legal soon so I can drive the dam thing =) then we get into the more technical stuff I guess. But goal is to have the car with Koni's wheels and tyres engine tuned etc done by the 28th of august.Gonna be a perfect day for me as only 10-20 people and 2 groups fast and slow so gives me a chance to get the hang off using a manual on a track without any body driving circles round me like there would be on a normal track day. yea but stickers on a race car always make them faster =)
