  1. Welcome John, hope you can make it to our next coffee meet on 2nd April. Cheers Ken
  2. Have seen various feedback on US forums of Cobb for BMW - general feel was the that their BMW software was really buggy and lack of fixes. I imagine it won't be as seamless as what they have for Mazda/Ford etc. I probably won't spend that amount of money on something and "hope" it would work.
  3. I think he came to the coffee meet a couple of months ago.
  4. Nice car and wheels man, welcome to the forums!
  5. Hi guys, Please send a PM if anyone has access to a black boot cover for a X5 E70 LCI. Cheers Ken
  6. Assuming it was driven by some sort of BMW NZ big wig. Damnnnn
  7. M2?! Are they in NZ already?????
  8. Haha nice one bro. You do need CF gear lever and surrounds to complete the look. And what's with the dice???
  9. Welcome to the forums man. Another fellow East Aucklander, hope to see you on our next monthly meet.
  10. Yeah I figured what caused it. Just couldn't get INPA to work to let me disable bulb check
  11. That would be nice! Trying to figure out how to remove the error code on my E70 LCI so I bought this. Error code due to replaced fog light with LED Installed software and looks like it is communicating with the car (both the ignition and battery dots solid, INPA) but as soon as I select E70 modules it throws an error.
  12. If that fails I am your backup. Bought a DCAN cable recently and was advertised being compatible with E90
  13. Thanks again Graham, Kyu has got a set of 135 style that should fit, he's kindly offered to lend me for a few days. All good now, what a helpful bunch I am wrapped!! Cheers
  14. Hey Kyu thanks man that is awesome. Would this Friday be ok? Can come with the work car.Cheers
  15. Stock are 18", I was thinking as long as bolt pattern fit the rest shouldn't really matter because it won't be driven.Should I be worried about brake caliper clearance?
  16. Hehe no worries have got an E70 X5 at home. Cheers
  17. Sweet look forward meeting you Graham, will give it a go with my persuading. Cheers
  18. Hi guys, Was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to let me borrow/rent a set of rims including tires for a few days, for a small fee say a box of beers? My plan is to take off my factory wheels for powdercoat, and I am not sure about leaving the car sitting on jack stands for prolonged period. So wanted to put a set of wheels on while I wait for PC to be done. The car will be left in the garage and not be driven while it sits on the borrowed set, so doesn't matter what size/offset/design as long as it is 5x120 with tires. I will be attending the coffee meet this Sunday 7th Feb at Kyu's sushi cafe, just to show my face and say hi to everyone, that I am legit and not dodgy etc. Cheers guys, thank you in advance. Ken
  19. Hi Luke, I had a E87 118d manual for the Mrs, awesome little car but not the most spacious for a bloke of medium build. And welcome to the forums.
  20. I have ordered cables for E70 to code the sh*t out, pretty sure the error came up because it picked up the aftermarket bulbs are drawing less voltage/current. Will post an update and let you know how it goes. FYI it is the same hardware cable if you want to go down that path. Cheers
  21. Did you replace them with LED or something that has different voltage? I swapped fog lights on E70 to LED and it is throwing errors too for that reason.
  22. Hey man I managed to get some food from your cafe, that was probably you and the miniature in the E91? I got a schnauzer too, will bring him along on the next coffee.
  23. Thanks guys. Have saved the date and will try and bring along @SpikeyLemon.Cheers PS: Kyu I am only a few doors up the road from your cafe. I am at 666 Great South Road!
  24. Or just a hair dryer + dental floss if you don't have heat gun.
  25. The guy has 1k + feedback though. Wouldn't blame him if it was his first attempt.
