This afternoon, along the Tawa straight heading south (whilst I was travelling north) I caught a glimpse out of the corner of my eye and which I'm am absolutely sure was a... DMC De Lorean! That unmistakable shape and stainless steel body gave it away.

Now that is something you don't see everyday here in lil ol' NZ :). Last one I saw being driven on the road and not on display in Southwards was about 30 years ago! And ironically it was the same stretch of SH!

Wellington, I've seen it around a couple of times, but when it was parked outside work I had to go have a perv haha.

(Not sure I should be too specific as it wasn't just parked on the street)

Looks like it’s been in the country less than a year now, UK import

  3. Very rare set of wheels, originally an option for e31 8 series.

    Front 8Jx17H2 IS10
    Rear 9Jx17H2 IS19

    Mad lip

Will polish up nicely once rattle can paint has been stripped (P.O.)

Centres absent. Small inconsequential hairline crack welded for piece of mind, spun by local tyre shop who can provide report for buyer.

Happy to ship at buyers risk/expense.

I can’t stress how unusual these wheels are, looking to simply recover costs. Wife says too many wheels.......

    asking $1200

darn , has your car had the recall done on the bearings.

my m3 about the same ks  but had new bearings done at about 60ks .

kayne barrie , reckons I should do them again.

have spare s54 engines if needed

Mate there’s nothing in the notes to say it had the recall campaign work carried out. Ex Singapore.

from what I’ve read they should be done (regardless) every 80k

Feck....the heat exploded my M3 mirror and it leaked crap all over my centre console trim and ate the paint. I'm in England next week so have ordered replacements. Does anyone know if it does this more than once and whether I now need to replace the mirror?

Yeah mine did the same....... that sh*t’s like acid

Go searching on there ...  You can find genuine sets in Japan easy as with tires round $1000 ish (cheaper if your not too concerned with a few scuffs)

And then probably about $400 ish in shipping / fees to get them here - Contact my mate Ewan from at info@stacked.co.jp - they can bid on them / organise the shipping.

    Theres a set

    Will investigate!
