Basically its a fuel - fuel rail - injector malfunction that is temperamental. So done me engine swap, the car runs sweet no issues then im getting this... Took the injectors out and they don't seem to be pulsing when this issues going on. I got this weird blow back through the intake when I tried to start it today. Also the fuel pump kept on whirring like it wasn't getting any fuel but had plenty in tank. Sometimes it would whirr constantly and other times I turned the key on it would prime itself then stop like normal. On other random occurrences when turning the key on the injectors would squirt suddenly as soon as the key turned on... Im guessing thats what the blow back was, as the valves would be shut and the pressure from the injectors had no where to go but vent back through the air filter. I thought at first it could be fuel pump relay sticking but then why would the injectors not be pulsing? Im guessing its a bad connection some where and ive heard that you shouldn't solder the wires on theses, is that true? as I have soldered just about every splice. Regards

Does anyone know just really quickly what the inside diameter of the clutch master supply line is for the e30? Is it 3/8 or something? Also does anyone know the inside diameter of the braided vacuum piping for the brake booster hose?

Any one know of one for sale with M Para wheels? cheers

i thought stock headers were frowned upon. I've been slicing mine up to get them around the steering knuckle and im working all good with it but I just thought it better to a hole that idea and get some extractors if Im going through the trouble. Anyone know a nice sound reasonably prices muffly?
-
Yeah thats a bit pricey, I'd love to hear from someone whos just bought a muffler on its own that works nice with the 6cyl m52 thats cheap enough. Also does anyone know about M52 headers if someone sells them in NZ??
-
Looking for drivers side, scraped mine when removing dash. It needs to be scratch free in perfect condition and not sure if the leather look type stuff came in different colours on the e30 so mine is dark grey, cheers!

Pretty sure its a G240, still have it. Was pulled from a running car, been sitting for a while.

Hmm any bmw 6 cylinder I think the super sprint would make come to life! Not a hint of rice any where. Got any videos of what the VW sounded like? I did a quick google for dyna flow couldn't find anything. Maybe I'll just get a super sprint... maybe not. The car hasn't been driven in such a long time and I'm growing impatient haha, I was hoping there was something readily available that sounded classy

Ive almost finished making the exhaust up straight through to the back was just going to whack a nice muffler on the end of it and call it good. I've got an OEM muffler sat there and the catalytic converters but that stuff is ridiculously heavy not to mention unnecessary? Was going to bin the cats and old muffler and have a straight through to muffler on the end of it. Could I get a nice deep tone but not go sh*t sounding boy racer with a nice muffler? First time I've dabbled with an exhaust so I just want it to sound really nice is all. I think I liked the one in that video I linked because it sounds quite audible and different. Hard to explain sounds.
-
Haha okay okay. Admittedly not a good idea to have it sounding like a fart cannon or blaring while going 100. I need a good muffler not a straight pipe jobby. Whats good?

Checking out mufflers for a M52, wanting one that just makes the 6 cylinder sound amazing thats easy enough to get a hold of in this country. What has everyone got, what does everyone prefer? I love the sound of this:
