  1. The law is the law and now the line is drawn but i can def see your point in this regards, as i was the same when i was a young fella, i used to leave my car at mates, rugby clubs, town, anywhere!! and would walk the next day to pick it up but could guarantee you there was still enough alcohol in my system after 12 or so hours to be above zero
  2. Awesome, cheers guys. i'm thinking a potential daily with thoughts of a transplant later on down the track, will hit the guy up and might head down this weekend.
  3. Hey guys, does anyone know this car and does this sort of $$ sound about right? http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-394077782.htm
  4. Plenty of tutorials on youtube as well, but too be honest you would be better to look for a night or weekend class for what you are wanting to do
  5. It is an absolute mission to find anything for Mercedes online (free) try the benzworld.org forum's
  6. I honestly don't like the short wheel base, too me it looks an M3 that has had a front and rear impact, love the sound and front though!
  7. I think it looks more like a Holden from the front, esp the grill!!
  8. Welcome to Bimmersport Dan, try posting in the WTB section, we have many sponsors who may be able to help you out.
  9. I would actually prefer they did, one decent length season a year like before, so you have that build up of 'can't wait for new TG season'. But this is one of the best seasons for a few!
  10. So, on a snowy Dunedin evening i thought i'd start watching the new season, very good so far, just hope it's not another 6 episode season Really liked Sebastien Vettel after watching him in 'star in a reasonably priced car' Shows the contrast between the german 7 time world champ and the soon to be 2 time world champ (Vettel) and just how much more chilled and relaxed he is.
  11. Yep had the same problem, stupid auto without LSD Took the Subby over to pull it out of the gutter...Fun times!!
  12. I would ask them, on what grounds does disclosing that you have aftermarket wheels effect this claim and i would think that as long as they are within the WOF standard that there should be no issue...i can remember a link, i read a while back explaining wheels needing to be within a certain offset etc to not have to get certification, if you get what i mean!? I'm sure someone remembers and can link you too it.
  13. Like Nikes slogan...Just do it
  14. I reckon you should just buy it, what do these guys know!?
  15. I don't know the exact customs protocol but i have bought several things from Australia and the US worth several thousand dollars and have not been hit up about GST or taxes...maybe just lucky or lazy customs officers! Maybe i should try bringing some crack in next time
  16. Love the touring...right up my alley!! Welcome to Bimmersport man!
  17. Also if you have a friend in the UK who can send them to you, you can avoid paying the GST as long as it's sent as a gift. i have done this a few times when buying from the US or Aus.
  18. Not cool, especially if it is one of the Bimmersport boys!!
  19. I would think that a popular show that has been around 20 odd years and still going strong would certainly have some merit, that people make decisions based on that show! The biggest thing would be the bad publicity and having your business' name thrown around the nation, i can guarantee no business owner really wants to end up on fair go!
  20. Thanks for the heads up! I remember buying new Alloys for my Subaru and letting my insurance company know and being informed that my stereo equipment already uses my $1000 accessory limit and they would not be covered Do you mind letting us know what insurance co you are with?
  21. haha, god...i wish da Merc would do sum mean az skidz, but would have to take the subby. da 318 would need sum disel to do sum skidz
