Quite un-pc Had to post this for a laugh...those who know encyclopedia dramatica will be familiar with the sites style. http://encyclopediadramatica.com/New_zealand

You think yours was easy...man, you should have seen the one i took 15 years ago. What a joke it was, 10 questions i had to tick, 3 verbal questions and i think i only had to get 7 and 2 verbal to pass lol I don't think education is neccessarily the key but a combination of that and actual driving experience would benefit all. I would bet none of us were great drivers when we were youger and had the dings and bumps too learn from, i think the big difference now is how many cars/high power cars are on the road and how many L plates and restricted own their own cars as opposed to 10-15 years ago which just multiplies those dings and bumps.
-
Valid point ^^^ though i have found that even newish cars still need a bit of tweeking with the factory setup(usually Bass)

I think you will find most, now wear rugby shorts (which are also small tight shorts) The last time i wore stubbies has to be at least 20 years ago for school, I can't actually see any man asking or looking for somewhere that sell stubbies anymore...So IMO stubbies are a thing of the past and only resurected from op shops for dress ups or retro parties!! Fish, go to the beach, play touch rugby/sport, friends come home from abroad for christmas...so camp, road trips/piss trip etc one of the strangest things you may find is christmas in summer (i know i found the same when in the UK for christmas)

Cheers Greg no one did mention that, though I have e-mailed and asked for an explanation as to why $900 plates less than 6 months old have ended up how they are now, will post when I hear back from them!
-
Look good, what are they?
-
Looks wide as hell, but freaking mean!! Dont forget though, the 3.0 F1 V10's put out 750-800kw and BMW has that knowledge...so power output via N/A engines should not be the issue! IMO BMW + Turbo just cheapens things up in my eyes (obviously not the cost) and brings some of that Bimmer Aura down
-
Radars always good, but was no help to me yesterday when i had no idea that the tolerance was down this weekend
-
Good idea but that would have been last resort, if pplates had f'd me around! We bought the car 4 months ago and got the plates a few weeks later so around 3-3.5 months old Awesome thanks for the link dude...though like i said earlier...still not impressed how easily the paint came off
-
Between chch and Dunedin, yesterday when I got stopped. I counted 27 cops/patrols/checkpoints... Maybe they are just hitting the south hard this time!?
-
Sounds like a good idea, though i would get secondary advice on whether the seal will be tight enough.
-
That's pretty good...though still dodgy on the paint considering you pay $950 to begin with!!
-
If i were the organisers of the V8's, i'd say thanks for your interest but laters...pfft trying to get an already establised comp to accomodate them...i hardly think they need any other manufacturers to make it successful. Would be good though!
-
oops yep 4 km. Yeah mine is out about 5 km, so sitting at 110km i thought i was all good. imo that tolerance is not enough esp if you are trying to sit at 100kmh its a crazy balancing act, even on cruise control if you go down a hill it will take a bit too adjust.
-
Really? i have never heard of that, might hit them up on monday. I assumed that the paint would be as durable as the numbers are!? I just e-mailed them now.
-
Nah they are painted on...so i have found out lol
-
Yeah i remember...though don't recall hearing about it before this weekend! Edit: as soon as i posted i heard a news add on tv, saying police are blitzing this weekend

Hey guys. The plates on our Mercedes has proper plates.co.nz ones. Today i gave the car a wash and was using the cleaning brush when i noticed that the paint on the euros were coming off (see pics) I used no harsh chemicals just Meguires next Gen car wash liquid and also did not scrub excessivly. Has anyone had the same thing happen!? should i hit up plates.co.nz about this? Really not too sure what i should do?

Has been lowered to 5km. I got stopped for speeding...106km in a 100km zone and got a speeding ticket... Just thought i'd let everyone know, as i had heard nothing so maybe others have also not heard
-
If that's the case i'd make the biarch pay for it...no point getting busted for smacking her mouth.
-
How do you know a woman did this? link?
-
Sorry, just meant, it seems like it is! Personally i got bored after the 5th page, just random dudes asking if he had been "buggered" or what was jail or his first cellmate was like. Maybe some young guys about to go for a stretch.

http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_stealth...php?fit_id=1556 I bought one of these, JL audio stealth mounted subs for my Subaru last year. Though the one i have fits in my spare wheel well (with spare) though having had subs mounted on one side of wagons before know that the balance can seem weird...just another idea

How can you dislike Bogans after watching that video...CLASS!!

Great suggestion, but i think he needs to know what it is exactly he wants as a career before he starts intern type roles...my sister did this as a 17 year old doing filing work at Deloite after school which eventually turned into a part time job and when she finished uni got a position there in a usually very coveted company. If it's cash to pay a few bills, gas the car etc this ^^^ would be the best idea.
