Sounds a bit of a manufactured post too me (like the WRX phone message one) Sure it's interesting and pulls on the heart strings but TBH, the idiots that do go out there and deliberatly drift around corners are not going to be concerned about "another accident" story.

Happy Birthday Greg have a good one mate!

Put the money aside you save from not having sky to go too Melbourne and instead watch it online www.atdhe.net You can get practice, qualifying and the race, sometimes in HD too!

What do you use for for GPS navigation on your iPhone?
cliffdunedin replied to simke's topic in General Discussion
My hori setup works fine with all those...already had handfree bluetooth, got the car charger with my iphone. A GPS setup to the window would also look ridiculous with my radar already there. Even paying for all those would be far less than the 100 squid that site is asking for. maybe for a business it makes sense. To myself spending $200-300 for something i hardly use, unless out of town doesn't -
Automatic box?? could be the diff!!

Tom tom app is pretty good...i bought mine on a cheap app day for $74 (i think) also i have rigged mine up with a hard cover that i bought for $20 and did a hori job, with those cheap air freshner clips from the Warehouse (that go in the vents) for $5 and now it just sits in the vents when i use it. -
I think you answered your own question Heino...did you get rid of the 36?

Anyone know the law/s on leases or tenancy agreements?
cliffdunedin replied to cliffdunedin's topic in Off-Topic
Cheers mate, thanks for the info. Guys unless you like that kind of action She still has texts to and from the landlord and i'm sure the police will have records of her calls. Subleasing just wouldn't be fair on the next tenants...she did think of that though -
Well, my younger sister lives by herself in an attatched unit and is having trouble with the neighbours adjoining her place. They are a gay couple who have parties constantly, smash bottles on the drive and carpark and she does often feel unsafe. she has complained to the police who have come around a couple of times and also to the landlord who has said, she does not want to kick them out as they have been there a long time and always pays rent! Last night at 12.30am she told them to shut up as they were right outside who window and she had work the next day, this morning...she woke to find a tyre had been let down! She wants to move out, but is under contract untill Feb 2011 Anyone know, what she can do apart from me going and knocking some heads which was my plan!!

What are we supposed to be looking at Ray? I cant see any imbalance either way on that page!

Nah i don't chat on it anymore, used to...plenty but just stalk there now my user name is F1_Fan_New_zealand lol To be honest i prefered Melbourne atmosphere wise, but still very cool! I was there in 05 when Juan Pablo took it out in a Mclaren with Alonso (Renault) and Kimi (Mclaren) exciting race but being a Ferrari fan, all decked out in my Tifosi gear. It was not a good day with the Ferraris coming in 6th and 7th or 7th and 8th Imo the top drivers that could take it anytime in the right machinery is, Seb Vettel, Alonso, Massa and Hamilton...Mark Webber is a good driver but def in the right car this year like Jenson last year. I still remember Webber taking the worst car on the grid (Minardi) and getting 6th place which was like 1 point...just as a good as a win in my eyes!

think that everytime i see his sig

I was a huge F1 fan until the FIA changed the rules too slow Ferrari down!! still enjoy it but don't follow as religiously as i did!! I have been to Melbs several times and in 03 got a pit pass, through my old job at Phillip Morris (marlboro) and met Rubens Barichello and Michael Scumacher. been once to Silverstone, I would love to go too Monaco some time but can't see myself in europe in the next several years though If it's F1 you wanna talk prob the best forum is planetf1.com

Something similar made in NZ!

This is correct^^^ our last day of billing, and we are actually over the cap but it is now back at full speed but our usage does not change...very cool!!
-
think what you want, i'm just saying from my experience i have had not experienced rain on the mountain...often in town or on the way up it's raining but once over the cloud line it's fine. anyways i don't wanna argue about silly trivial sh!t... let's just say you have been on the Central otago mountains a handful of time and are right!

5th gear is getting better though!! But lets be honest if Ben collins were on Top Gear as himself he would not have had the same following or auror as "the stig" and could have been replaced by any other racer. Will be interesting to see if he can actually present, as opposed to just drive!

Yep got it sorted! I took the other boys advice and had someone pull the bonnet lever while i jiggled the bonnet, the left side popped up, but not the right! I then removed the right kidney grill and used a flat head screw driver to undo the bonnet pin and boom undone...put it all back together and then tried the bonnet a few times. Still don't understand how it got stuck in the first place though!
-
Thanks mate, tried that and got one side loose! thanks will try that tomorrow...no wiper fluid and pollen everywhere is beginning to annoy me!
-
Hey guys, a couple of weeks ago i posted about my bonnet not opening. i have tried some of the tricks from this thread, http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=959132 too no avail. Has anyone else had this same issue, and how did you get it sorted without masacreing the front end of the car. cheers

Rubbish??? Yeah, so those 12 days in 3 years makes you an expert!! If you actually read what i said, i mentioned about the at least 200 times in the past i have hit either Coronet, Remarks, Cardrona, TC or even Ohau and can't recall that it has rained on the mountain...not that miraculously it does not rain ever!!! maybe it has something to do with geography or height of mountain but i'm sure that anyone whom regularly hits the S Island trails, would also say that very very occasionally does it rain on the mountain,
-
Dont have that problem down here in QT or wanaka!! In maybe 200 times skiing I can't ever Recall it raining on the mountains during the season.
-
Sh!t that's quick!! I've never had faster than about 5...though bandwidth been smashed this month so faster for me to use my iPhone to use the net then the bloody speed it's running now lol

Same thing down here...you want to talk about 4x4 craziness, go too Texas!! Not only did i have to worry about driving on the other side of the road but the thousands of soccer mums in their fricken ridiculously HUGE Dodge rams, Fords, Chevs etc i was crapping myself every time one came near me in my hire car (VW Jetta)
