  1. Me knowing it all again Just remember the old man having a 265 Valliant back in the day and thinking it was an 8!
  2. I think that's because you used 3m tape on something the air is constantly pushing on If i recall the other forum guys used butterfly screws to mount it.
  3. So do I!!! We managed too Swindle 5 years extended Warranty and 2 sets of glasses...so a wee bonus.
  4. I still have one of these... http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....erzE36&st=0 And pics of it on Heinos car! http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....c=31155&hl= Just never got around to putting it on. PM me if you are interested.
  5. Seems simple but i had a similar thing from putting directional tyre the wrong way!?
  6. We ended up going with a Samsung LED 9000 3D, i got the dude at Harveys to set up the top of line LCD/PLASMA/LCD-LED and run a HD Bluray in parallel through them and the LED looked sooo much better. Loved watching all the sport on it in the weekend. But again, it is each to their own what they prefer etc
  7. Welcome Reuben...top Merc looks really good (reminds me of the Arabs in Cannon ball run) and with a small block Hemi will be sounding good too.
  8. Most boring race of the season...esp the importance and significance, it could have been!! The last couple of years with, last minute rule changes/loopholes in rules have given some teams a bit of lady luck early on in the season - though i have a feeling Ferrari are a tiger waiting. They have the drivers, the huge$$ is still being pumped into R&D and even after the 2005 rule changes to slow down Ferrari they have been constantly in the top 2-3 teams since. Remembering that the Merc did not suit MS for the first half of this season, if Ross gives Schumi a decent ride next year...he will push everyone again!!
  9. Don't know if it matters but the rear right switch!
  10. I have used bug and tar remover or cheap degreaser to loosen brake dust or tar before...I let it soak for a couple of mins then hose off then use normal car washing liquid, just try not to get it on your tyres as it makes them go brown and i would imagine not great for them
  11. Welcome mate, tidy wee e30 you have there (great taste to want to remove that bumper) though have the feeling someone may PM you to see if you wanna sell it or there will be people on TM who would be keen on it.
  12. Even though i'm a big Ferrari fan I think one of the Redbulls wil take it...hopefully Webber, as he's at the end of his career and Vettel is just beginning his.
  13. Awesome!! I was never a real fan of Porsche cabs (particularly Boxters) until my parents neighbour bought one of these a few years ago. looks really good with the roof up or down!
  14. So, looks like its going to go down to the final race, Alonso, Webber, Vettel or Hamilton could all take it out... place your bets gents, this is exciting stuff!!
  15. Japan...the best game shows ever!!!
  16. Maybe if it were blue and didn't look like a tyre wrapped around it.
  17. Cheers for that, seems LED may be the better choice. I did notice that when looking at them in the shops I too thought that Plasma was old tech though many reviews on the net (and the salesman said) that the picture is better on the bigger screens as opposed to LCD, i really like the look of LED, though i have had problems over the years.. buying new tech then all sorts of problems going wrong Cost is not really an issue due to Harveys/JB having crazy interest free deals, but would like something decent for a reasonable price.
  18. Yep i'd be interested in that too Heino.
  19. Looking at getting a new tele (40'+) We have had a couple of smaller LCD's but have heard the bigger they go Plasma or LED are the better ones to go for, what are your guys opinions on which is better?
  20. You could always try desolve it, it's a citrus based solvent so should be pretty easy on the paintwork. I've used it on anything from removing oil off leather lounge suite, tar off paintwork, removing stickers/decals - i would think it would be ideal for what you need it for.
  21. Pop it all back in and get some epoxy to fix the split...should do the trick.
  22. What a good guy!! How long did it take you to come up with that!? All i wanted was some help with a problem (which i got)...not a smart arse comment from a mod... after all, isn't that what this forum is for!!!
  23. I went to do that but...typical, couldn't find my multimeter Thanks for the suggestion, i'll give it a try later on!
  24. Awesome tip bro...worked awesome!! By any chance does anyone know how to get the brake switch out!? spent the last hour and can't get the bugger out.
