Hi all, In need of the black plastic clip located at the top of the airbag of e39 tourings in order to lock the airbag in. I'm told you cannot buy just this clip from BMW but need to get the air reservoir with it... (shock) Thanks in advance

Had it listed on trademe. Sold within an hour. I suppose it’s fair play to him if he wants to try sell it for more, I got a quick and hassle free sale.

Sounds like it need a trans service and may have a coolant leak (probably a cracked expansion tank). I would personally recommend BM Workshop or Godo Workshop in botany. I use Godo, ask for Terry. He used to work at Auckland city bmw so knows everything about these cars. And all for less than half the price. Hope this helps.

I agree with sorting all this first, will give it a good refresh of the basics and will be on the look out for a lower lip. My thoughts too - would like to know the potential costs of doing so and options etc.. May have a talk to Ray about it

Hi all, I recently bought a white 1989 320i touring (automatic) and would love some ideas on what to do with it - was thinking a manual swap and maybe an engine swap (m52?) Any advice on what route to go down/approximate costs would be much appreciated. Current engine only has 120xxx kms on it and has been well taken care of by the looks of it. Cheers

Sure - Sold for $7,200. Yes already bought a replacement. Had to downgrade unfortunately, but bought a E46 318ci with all the right boxes ticked so quite happy with it.
