Have listed on trademe for $11.5k ono: https://www.trademe.co.nz/1968668683 It's a 2008 130i Msport with 49k kms Will do lower price for bimmersporters, please note that it doesn't have a Supersprint exhaust on it anymore but a stock 130i one that sounds pretty good still. Highlights: - 3 door E81, pretty rare - Low kms - Transferable Mechanical/electrical Breakdown insurance with 18 months left - Recent Cut and Polish with Ceramic coating - new Vanos Solenoids/Trans Service/oil filter gasket and service - newer model 1 series 17s with good non rft tyres fitted - Interior is absolutely mint - Upgraded rear suspension, Bilstein shocks - Rear Msport bumper insert has been painted body colour, looks much better than standard Lowlights: - Needs repair + respray on front bumper and aerial mount. Dent on tailgate(pullable) - scratches on fender/bonnet - bulb error but lights work fine - Parking sensors and rear wiper motor are dead(seems to be common issue on these) Probably 1k-1.5k to fix bodywork and replace sensors/motor

Rant and feedback request - BMW Part Prices
NZ_InFerno replied to hugo_nz's topic in General Discussion
I’ll just add that fcpeuro is super useful for parts. I hadn’t actually checked the bmw price, as the full replacement kit (actually an upgraded part over stock)cost me half the local special price, so figured bmw weren’t going to be cheaper. -
I'm about to sell my E81 130i, I'm looking for opinions on what it's worth. I've bought another 130i so moving this on. It's a 2008 130i Msport with 49k kms, thread here: Highlights: - 3 door E81, pretty rare - Low kms - Transferable Mechanical/electrical Breakdown insurance with 18 months left - Recent Cut and Polish with Ceramic coating - new Vanos Solenoids/Trans Service/oil filter gasket and service - newer model 1 series 17s with good non rft tyres fitted - Interior is absolutely mint - Upgraded rear suspension, Bilstein shocks - Rear Msport bumper insert has been painted body colour, looks much better than standard Lowlights: - Needs repair + respray on front bumper and aerial mount. Had a look underneath and I don't think the fronts have been upgraded but it has yellow Bilstein stuff on the rears. Or at least the sticker says Bilstein ?

Put the K&N filter in today and replaced a couple of jack points. Been doing some cleaning and inspecting on my new E87 130i that's an identical spec and wondered why it's suspension looked different to this one considering they both have Msport Suspension. l discovered that this has upgraded suspension on it. I thought it was a little flatter through the corners but put it down to the lower kms on the car. No wonder it handles like it's on rails.

I'm going to order these bits assuming they're correct ?
-
Only thing stopping you is money and garage space ?
-
Well I was going to make a thread, see what bimmersport thinks I should sell it for. I was thinking $13kish considering it's under 50k kms

This is all awesome info cheers @Jacko @allan and @HELLBM

I bought another 130i, this time a 5 door E87. I'm probably going to sell the e81. This one is almost identical to the e81(same year 2008, M-Sport, beige Leather Interior, Aluminium trim) but has two more doors. It also has more goodies in that it has the 18" M-Sport Alloys, seat warmers, electric seats, idrive and auto climate control plus the previous owner put in a Bluetooth adapter and mic. It needs a little bit of tidying up and definitely a cut and polish but drives nicely considering it's done a few kms.

I was wondering if I should pm you, I think you had done it on your 130i? Cheers for the info. I've got the right parts I hope.

I need a new rear driveshaft coupling for my new purchase, E87 130i. Looking to do it myself, so I’m ordering parts for it and want to check I’m getting the right bits, if there’s anything I need to be aware of in replacing the coupling and anything else I should do while I’m there. From Real OEM and the kits I’ve seen on fcpeuro I need 4 parts numbered 1,2,3/12 and 4 from here: www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=UD52-EUR-10-2007-E87N-BMW-130i&diagId=26_0218 I’ve found these bits on fcpeuro which match the Realoem part numbers: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-drive-shaft-flex-joint-giubo-meylehd-3141523102hd https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-drive-shaft-flex-joint-nut-26127536563 https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-hex-bolt-m10x5510zns3-26117551225 https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw-drive-shaft-end-bushing-26117526611-1 So am I good to go or do I need anything else?

BMW Winger in Welly charge $250 for a pre purchase inspection. I paid $200 for a pre purchase inspection at a euro independent workshop yesterday on a BMW.

Can you see the cars Bluetooth on your phone to pair with? If you can't see it broadcasting, you need to trigger the cars Bluetooth so it can find your phone.

As above, leather is going around the outside of the wheel so looking for a replacement. or if they can be repaired I’d be interested.

Saw a black 1 series coupe with M-Sport front bumper at the Upper Hutt BP yesterday evening

I'd have paid 12k and 1 cent

This is round the corner from me, and I've seen it in person and it's absolutely stunning. Owner is a detailer, Ditwc supplier and brought the car over with him when he emigrated here.
