Wagon seems like decent value, but you would need to want all the extras.
Wonder what needs finishing / interior.
Could look good sitting on some Alpina wheels.

Funny, I have a manual 330ci and am looking to get an E30 325i 2 door sometime.
Finding a complete manual conversion is the hard part these days - I would expect to pay $2,000+ easy for a ZF Conversion - add a new clutch and flywheel and bits for another $1,000. Cert add $750.
Workshop labour and coding, no idea - but I would factor on $5K plus to do it right.
Make sure you also use an unmodified factory manual driveshaft too or you could need to add driveshaft hoops (like me 😭)

Not BMW specific but a great way to spend 45 minutes IMO!

Great stuff mate - guessing this is the white Coupe off Trade Me?
Should go like stink once you sort a few niggles (hopefully just niggles).

My E46 has been making a rear suspension noise coming out of my drive recently so jacked it up to have a looksee and found my rear sway bar had popped off the endlink bushing on the passenger side.
New Lemforder endlinks from a few months ago. These are the ones that simply ‘pressure’ fit onto a rubber bushing - no buts and bolts etc
Anyways, managed to get it back on, but it was weirdly easy and it moves relatively freely on the sway bar end now!? When installing I remember it wouldn’t budge at all.
I did use some silicone grease on it to get back on as I thought it would be a real nightmare - did I make a mistake lubricating it?
Why would it pop off in the first place? Unevenly loaded?
Drove it around the block and clunk was gone but concerned it’s just going to pop off again….😑

Jeez - is it as tidy on the outside as it looks?

This looks great IMO - not too ragged out and ruined like most E36's.
Great colour combo, even if the seats are tatty - I would not expect it to hang around long.

Looks quite tasty IMO

Heinous but a cool colour.
Maybe it will look good in a few years -or in the flesh - as much as we like to talk crap about these new designs, they are made by professionals who 'know what they are doing' .
Taillights sit way too low and headlights sit too high to my eyes.
Weird.

Condition is everything IMO.
Could be a minter done really well or a ragged out rough swap with a G220.
-
Just realised this is the one for sale on Trade Me 👌

261m are a good look too IMO and maybe easier to get seeing as everyone modifies E82 135is...

, noticeable resonant howl when second vanos stage opens up.
Roughly same intake temps when moving, circa 4 degree delta over ambient, but expectably spikes up quickly when stopped.
