If I could get my coupe to look like this, I would be happy Would have been easier to buy this. Good luck with the sale
  2. Funny you commented on this. So I get to the place and find out that the range specified on the website wasnt accurate and was 19-110nm. So I ended up getting a little one were the 10nm wasn't at the extreme of the range. I'll just have to get a bigger one later on (which suits me I having lots of tools)
  3. I am in the process of slowly building up my car. At the moment I am only doing general maintenance as I have only owned my car for abotu a month but I have a few plans in place down the line when time and cash is more readily available. One of the general maintenance issues i have to sort out this weekend is adjusting the valves as the are noisy as hell. For that I need a decent torque wrench. I checked out the required torque settings and had a look online and found this torque wrench from Sulco http://www.sulco.co.nz/Product?Action=View...roduct_id=16388 Would the range 10-110nm cover 95% of what I would need to do within a rebuild? or do I need something more? ( or a second torque wrench in a higher range)
  4. So I am looking to clean up the wiring on my e30. behind the dash it looks like a my server room at work (chaotic). Does anyone have any suggestions for this? or is it as slow and painful as I think it will be? Alternatively, does anyone have any photos of an e30 with a cleaning wiring loom?
  5. Awesome, one less thing to buy. Thanks for your help
  6. My understanding with the medium case is that it was the same width as the smallallowing the axles to remain, but it was a tad longer requiring the change in driveshaft. *goes off and googles a little more*
  7. Ah I typed this too early in the morning and mixed up my words. It is a 320 body with a 325 running gear transplanted in (obviously bar the rear diff) So around a 3.64 is what I need, do they come in a small case or are they in a medium case (conscious of the fact ill have to change my driveshaft over as well)
  8. Hi all i recently picked up a 320 which has been reshelled as a 325. It had a few small issues which are being worked through but one of the problems is the diff was a bit long. I got under and found out that the previous owner had put a 4.45 small case diff in there (i can figure out the logical reason why) which is from a 318 automatic. Anyways, I need to find something a bit shorter so I can actually used 1st and second gear for more than ten seconds. Does anyone have a recommendation for a ratio I should be using? I use the car mainly for day to day driving but I would still like to have a reasonable level of acceleration. great forum btw, the level of information on this site is awesome. Thanks in advance, Matt
