I'd be passing the bill onto the painters at that cost, I simply cant believe it could cost that much

Anyone know where to get replacement tubing from the washer bottle to the spray units under the bonnet? Mine are old, starting to leak and look like sh*t lol

The rust in the engine bay looks painful :/ that m10 looks really clean. Got a link to that build by chance?

Im looking for a good exhaust shop in Auckland to get my exhaust sorted on my e30. Is there a shop Bimmersports has an association with? or anyone that can be recommended? Thanks Matt

Looks sweet man, definitely document the paint restoration if you could. I would be well interested in a step by step process for that

Thanks boss, I tried to find the details in your sales thread from way back but the details were gone. I'd love to get two inch lips on the front and 3 on the rears, that's a long term goal though

Dropped it up to Ray at HellBM and all was sorted.I also got the thrust bearing replaced at the same time as it was quite noisy. Also need to drop the car down another inch or so to get rid of that gap in the front, anyone got any super lows spare?

Process for the mirrors One of them was previously painted so I sanded back with 100,180,240 grit wet back sandpaper till I has hitting plastic. I then sprayed with a couple of light copies of color pak Vinyl Etch (this stuff is awesome) I then sprayed with three light coats of a color pak satin enamel black (cant remember the color) I then sanded this all back to plastic again with 100,180,240,400 grit wet back sandpaper to smooth any imperfections out. then two light coats of vinyl etch and three light coats of satin and left it to dry overnight (then chucked in the hot water cupboard. Rebuilt and then chucked back on the car. Took a little time but it looks really good. Been through a couple of washes and I haven't seen any wear so it looks like it will hold.

That looks slick, really like the change in wheels.

Going to replace the subframe bushings, trailing arm bushings, carpet, few random screws/bolts, exhaust, rust holes fixed, normal diff for an lsd diff, drivers seat needs repairing.

Can someone take a photo of (or describe to me) how the oil cooler is meant to be attached to the body? I replaced the old one to find it held in two two self tapping screws (not cool) and watn to affix it properly. On another note the car is off to get the damaged rocker arm replaced and a noisy thrust bearing swapped out

Idiot things previous owners have done to your car.

Wow, wtf -
So somehow the intake rocker arm on cylinder 1 has been damaged and a part has chipped off it. This has meant that whilst it can still hold the eccentric and a bolt at the moment, I hold little hope for it being anything more than an emergency fix. I dont have the time (or most likely the skills) to fix it. How much should I expect to pay to get this sorted? I fear I am out of pocket big time with this one.
