I have diagnosed a problem with my e30, I pulled up my carpet to find the base of the carpet in the passenger foot well wet with coolant. Based on this I figured I have a general heater core fail. I tried to replicate this with the carpet off pinpoint the source of the leak but I couldnt get coolant to leak. The other day, i parked my car in a sharp decline (nose downhill) and noticed that coolant then leaked into the footwell. So based on this what is the most likely component to be failing and causing the leak? Would I have to replace everything (the heater still produces heat) or do I have a damaged/split O ring somewhere in the mix? Thanks for your help in advance. Matt

So brute force won and I managed to break my accelerator pedal into two when I was trying to remove it (carpet was wet, long story) So at the moment i have a rather haphazard pedal stuck in place. Does anyone have one spare I could purchase? At the same time I am after two small bolts, the 10mm one that holds the centre console in and the black plastic screw that holds the window sprayer water bottle in place. Any help would be much appreciated. Matt

Hi all I just managed to sort out all the general maintenance issues with my car so now onto the more cosmetic aspects. The houndstooth seats in my car are painful to look at, all the seats have tears in them and it really sucks. If anyone has a decent interior (or part of one so I could piece together something complete) could you let me know? Or alternatively, has anyone had their seats recovered? How much did that cost?
