theyll only be a 20mm drop, for 50mm you'll havta find some jamex super lows, or buy them new, they arent that expensive, or get some custom springs, usually bout $100 per corner

mint. Can't wait to see pics. 5s are better than 3s anyhow But why a m20 525i and not a m50 525i or m30 535i?

voted as one of the most boring threads ever.

i was under the impressin giltrap drove a bently, but f**k, with the cash hes got, proly got 83 new cars or some sh*t. Maybe hes personally drivin it to continentals coz dosent trust transport, haha. Heres something i bet you didnt know, and something you prolly did, 1 he owns EMD which is the distrubtor of vw, audi, skoda, bently in NZ, but, he actually owns bently U.K as well. prolly shouldnt have said that, but i dont care.

cant say i dig the stylin one bit. but. umm. yuh. cool engine.

I wouldnt want to, it'd freak me out, I'd probably start slinging mud at it to make it look semi normal again!

just saw this mate, happy bday to one of our "old school crew"
-
may go ahead with that, have to see though, will do a little test, attach some wire so its about equal length to how low my car would be with the front lip on and see if I bend the wire or not, if I bend it constantly, Im not chucking it on, if not, then possibly just the front, even though will needed to be modded to fit.

that is ridiculous! almost freakishly way too clean
-
nah i meant my actual photo taking abilaty. Car is tuff. No doubt
-
depends on the surface, and how long you take between each coat, on a hot day = so much better etc.
-
Unbad. Good to see etc.

if you're not bothered by performance, and just want sound, then go to a exhaust shop and get them to put a sports muffler on the end and a more free flowing one in the middle, cut the cat out while you're at it. Will maybe give you a little bit of power, will give you the sound, and definatly be a damn sight cheaper than doing something stupid like importing a whole exhaust in from the states.

omgwtf?no one ever chopped it anyhow.

dude, it so dosent. Hang on, pchop a pic of this car ive got in red, make it alpine, chuck some 15" weaves on it and bump it. Its not a good looking kit.

go to a decent suspension specialist place, or ring stocks and grab your koni's off them, H&R etc are a decent spring, but whats the use when you can get custom ones for cheaper, I have no idea where howick is, but yuh, find a suspension place or similar. If you want a big drop and cant be bothered waiting grab some jamex super lows, like mine, 60mm drop. Big drop. Then get some Konis or bilsteins, if you cant afford them, get some KYBs, sorted?
-
thanks dude, I like the chrome vs the tint though, so hard choice.

I dont get angry. Esp noobs trying to bag teh 5, all makes me lol/get my psycho rocking later. Yuh may do eibach/whiteline/some other aus ones swaybars at some stage, it actually hasnt got a hell of a lot of roll now. Infact, pretty much none, believe it or not. Shadowlining including white instead of chrome bumpers is whats holding me up, also prefer the chrome lights instead of shadow'd ones.

maybe you didnt know and was thinking of the european m535i, that came out before the euro m5 but had the kit, and the m30b34. The m535i being actually made in the M plant. One of the only to come out of there that could be optioned as automatic. Was actually an M car, compared to the nz e30 m325i. Or then you could be talking south african E28s, that used the m535i as the M5 body and the normal euro spec m5 as the m535i, but I didnt say that, I said mine was similar in looks to an euro M5.
