Sorry guys, had to remove the photos... Went out there this afternoon, and going out there again tomorrow.
-
Havent organised a dyno as of yet. But would love to get on one.
-
Inhibitor switch. Its not part of the ECU or engine loom, but is part of the body loom, so in a factory manual car it will not be a problem.
-
Cranked it over and gained some oil pressures. Battery is on the charger then I will check I am getting correct signals from the crank VR sensor to the ECU.
-
Yes the fancy one with the sport shift has a different engine loom, uses a different TPS.
-
Engine looms are the same between auto and manual I believe, so you should have no issues.
-
Are the radiators not different? On PFL top hose is on right hand side, on FL top hose is left hand side. So you would need FL radiator to go with it, or swap the PFL cooling system to the new engine. Could be wrong here, been a long time.

I don't think thats a 'feature', rather more a f**kup at their end they have yet to catch on to or fix.

Slingshot 100gb plan. I get 1MB/s from rapidshare, and downloaded 50gb in one night last month.
-
100gb / month. No warnings. But, im not using torrents that often anymore.

There was a breathalyzer on one of the boats I used to work on, me and some of the boys would go down there on a weekend and get boozed then walk into town etc. Breathalyzer maxed out at either 800 or 900, so was not much competition to be had.

Get boat, disregard exclusion zone. jks...

These pics are from sunday.. http://photobucket.com/polley_bs //album If I find the media have used them, I will hang you, by the nuts. You could see the crack opening and closing in the swell as well as creaking and groaning. Im hoping to get out there on saturday and will take my gopro to get some sweet videos.

I know what PWM is having used it my self you chode. Page 9 is explaining the M62TU vanos which is variable and uses PWM and is not relevant to the M52.Anywhere you read will tell you that M52 vanos is simply on or off. Feel free to go stick a o-scope on a M52 and prove me and everyone else wrong though.
-
The one that seals the master cylinder to the firewall to stop water etc coming in.
-
Oh here we go, read page 5 and aware your self. http://www.e38.org/m62tu.pdf
-
I was under the understanding that early vanos was either on or off and later double vanos was variable.

They are steam pipe bends, they would be over kill for a NA manifold (and heavy), unless you plan on making a turbo manifold ??
-
Its been too rough... I agree things may have started off too slowly, but things are moving along quickly now. There is 200~ people in the command center :S
-
Clearances are tight, down pipe has maybe 5mm each side.

Dad was out there again taking some salvors out. It's completely listed over to the other side and the rails etc are under water, front compartments are flooded, boulbous bow is pushed right in. It's leaking f**k all oil now, dad reckons he saw heaps of birds and fish out there haha .. Salvors lost a bunch of gear when the ship listed over to the other side.. Got some photos, should have them up tomorrow. Hopefully be able to tag a long at some point and check it out, but most times he only gets 1 hour notice to be out there.
-
Weekend will consist of cutting down 24 studs and attempting to install them, gonna be a mission trying to get to some of these.
-
It can also upset the balance of the ship, and risk capsizing it.
