I was running whiteline super lows all round and Boge turbo shortened shocks. Running 16" wheels with 205/40 rubber brought the Rear suspension crossmember mounts to 85mm off the ground and the lowest point in front was 90mm off the ground. I had been green stickered for that.. But when i went to LTNZ to get it taken off they passed as i still had a suffice amount of suspension travel and they deemed the car safe for use. Without a cert.. Soo i guess some people just don't do there jobs as well as they should. Although in saying that had a run bigger tyres or when the car was on 17" wheels the car was raised to 105 and 110mm respectively. Only pic i have with clearances

I'd do it and save em for a trackday. You will have a Shitload of fun. R888's dont wear to bad.. Ive done ~ 1000 miles on mine and they aren't even half worn

Testing the possibility of using the W16 Quad turbo engine for marine use? Would be one hell of a powercruiser!

^ Perfect analogy. Thank you Admin. [/thread]

Not to rain on your parade but i wouldn't bother with them unless you plan on hitting the track for a blast. If you run them on a road car that gets driven regularly you wont see much benefit, (unless you like hitting the twisties on a sunday) Id stick with some decent road tyre's.. I guess it all depends on how cheap though

^ +1.. O how much fun a track car would be
-
Really.. Thats a bit of a loophole then because isn't the M3 body different to the stock E30? Suspension and chassis wise?
-
Cool little car that!
-
Yeea but i thought that the car had to still contain its original engine type.. therefore an e30 m3 would not be a suitable candidate for an s54 in open class?? As 4cyl vs 6 cyl.. Would have to do what you are doing Josh with a M325i.. If for fast road and random fun (read non competitive) track days an s62 in an M3 would be sacrilege but badass at that! Edit: or in keeping to your original request (4wd) go for a 01-05 rs4 and strip/cage it.. True Baller
