noob question here.. Ill be pretty keen to start investing some money when i start full time work. Ive always thought property would be the go but how do you get into it? Get a mortgage and once its paid you rent it out in turn semi paying for the next house? Continue this cycle until you have more houses and once you hit around 5 you will have all the houses + income from tenants giving you more 'free' houses or money to invest in other feilds? Basically asking how do your really 'invest' money i.e trading etc? Some of you seemed to be rather clued up so fill me in on the basics.... Cheers Chris

As i told you up north though Gary, and as stated above, you can buy a wicked old school holden (Im not going to say ford) for el cheapo, usually with a few mods and in good condition. Also their cars are not as prone to rust etc as they are here.

Did you manage to find a fabricator Shane?? Graham, did you not see the one in his car at the meet? They are very well made boxes. The welding work etc is very good, infact some of the best ive seen, you would think the metal was folded. Not welded. You have my order Shane P.S im getting you prices for plugs etc this arvo, ill PM you tonight

Yup cars in Australia are f**king expensive and 200,000 k to them is NEW!!!! I seriously think you should do what you were talking about, (Buying shitters and macking them out) Im pretty sure you would turn a good profit, you could probably even (once you are established) buy a container and fill it up with cheap parts from NZ (as im sure the parts over there are just as expensive as the cars themselves) and just make E30's to customer specs haha, that would rule!!

Know what you mean there being a tall bugger doesnt help!!! JC from top gear rates theses cars VERY highly. One of his all time favourite cars

bit dodgy but im guessing all you would hav to do is remove the brake lines and pads. handbrake is cable operated so that can stay Im guessing this is so you can skid it....
-
Just wondering here Josh, with the suspension you are running will it be suitable for driving on road or are you setting it up specifically for track/strip use?

I tried to list my mods in the 'Mods List' under user profile but it says i have entered to much text for my mods!!! I dont know if this is telling me to stop doing sh*t to my car or not but id like to be able to have it entered there. Maybe changing the amount of text you are allowed in that field may help. Cheers Chris
