Anyone know where to get things custom fabricated in carbon/carbon kevlar? Keen for a bonnet and sunroof panel... just want some prices.

Hey I'm just starting to pull finger and get onto doing the E30.

Anyway I was thinking of buying (decent) tint rolls and tinting it myself.I know that I sould get it done properly but I really have no money lol.I was thinking I should keep it all legit and do 35%'s all round and not have to worry about anything.But i looked at a mates car with 35's and they werent really that dark.I was thinking maybe if I went 20% all round and 35% on the rear windshield to keep it a bit more legit.

Just wondering what others have done / gotten away with

Haha hope you have tinted windows before, they are a PITA! best to pay someone to do it and then you wont waste money by f'ing it up yourself. I got 20% on the back and 35% on the sides, never had trouble with it...

Hey guys and girls, just wondering if anybody has or knows someone with a house/bach that they are willing to rent out for the new years period (26th Dec-7th Jan) at Mount Maunganui. Im dead keen for somewhere for me and my mrs and 2 mates to stay, we wont trash the place and it doesnt have to be too flash. Just PM me if any one has any info. ive tried the rental websites but most places are booked out i new i should have got in earlier but sh!t happens. Willing to pay up to $3000 for the 2 week period stated above.

would never get through a warrant.....if you had an accident the welding wud break n you'd fly through the windscreen...dare devils make an offer...!!! it is not legal to cut and weld like this..is not a good job and many signs of weld decay which would lead to corrosion.n break...the seat its self is okay but rails not gud!

Well it did pass a warrant when the car was on the road, the car was actually certed for the seat and suspension, as i said it just needs a clean up and it will be fine, as long as the corrosion does not get any worse you would not have any problems with these rails. Can you prove you are not allowed to 'cut and weld?'

Just want back what i paid for it really $1200 and its yours. With a box of random parts, a tuning manual and 4 fiat alloy wheels with chrome/steel hubcaps (just cover the wheel nuts)

well done... it wasn't me that did the welding, i just took it out of a car that i bought for parts. a bit of paint and some skill with a grinder and you wouldn't even notice the cut marks. not how i would have done it but this is the for sale section not the i want your opinion section...

I only have 1, can supply rails for another if needed, will get pics up monday/sunday night as i am not at home atm

you can only really pull them out a couple of mil before the part thats being bent will start to crack or spider web' the paint.

due to all being pulled out an inch and a half or so they actually were all rolled and pulled / extruded. but the car had a new paint job after that.

you probably dont want to go this extreme unless your planning to put wide wheels on.

Never really liked going to the dealers, when my auto tranny was poked i went to team macmillan and they 'fixed' it short term and charged me 350 bucks!! they are all overpriced, i mean oil change 100 bucks? oil + filter from repco = $40, + 30 mins of your time = satifaction job is done properly and $65 more in your pocket, beats me why anyone would go to the specialised dealers? also heard that anything apart from servicing isnt even done at the 'dealership' they send it off to other specialist places then charge extra ontop of what the specialist place charges....

DIY FTW... if not find a good service/repair shop as an alternative to rip off dealers, they only wanna make money!!!

Also, warrents, $20 at the dodgy iraqi place strategically placed all over the country If you know your car, you will know what is wrong with it and when things need replacing.
