I have not purchased the car yet but I'm 100% sure that they are aftermarket as they are very dark.

Ok I see, one of the cars I'm looking at buying appears to have very dark tints but this could be exacerbated by the fact the car is white.

So if they werent stripped through compliance there are no legal issues with them?

If a car is imported from Japan where the rules on tinting are (apparently) less stringent, and the tints on the vehicle are considered an illegal tint in New Zealand; is it legal to have them on as that is how it was imported? I believe I have heard this is the case but I cannot remember and would like to confirm. Thank you.

I never really got the nod or wave because I don't like him haha. Over aggressive driver (we all can be) but seriously, whenever I see him it's usually brief 'cos his foots to the floor.

Is this the guy in the SL320 I think? Number plate "BENDS". He's a younger guy, teens I'm guessing. Always see him around St. Heliers, Mission Bay etc. Sometimes in Remuera and a few times on the Western.

Oh yes, I know there are no engine differences but the suspension and handling is different.

Drove a 330i M-Sport today, side by side with a non M-Sport one. The difference is incredible, if it comes to buying a 330i it will definitely be an M. Beautiful cars.

I havn't done it but I've heard good things about www.wheelfixit.co.nz Even if the wheel doesn't need repair they can change colour, they come to you and the job is usually completed on the same day as they come in their indoor painting unit - so any weather. They also have shadow chrome! Be sure to post pics haha

Haha no nothing wrong with the Ti, I've just had it for awhile and decided to move on with it - needing a bigger car and desiring more power Yup, the MKitted E39s look amazing. Driven a couple - just waiting for the right one to come around... Pretty much looking for 2001-2002, <90,000kms, black, aluminium trim, good condition inside and out. Mate, I'd be so keen on the 540i but based on my age and record I can't be insured for a price which I'm willing to pay haha

Looking to buy a 530i Motorsport, currently driving a 318Ti So yeah, been browsing through Bimmersport for awhile and decided I may as well make an account here. So yeah, done and dusted haha. Absolutely loving all the E30s on here. Got me hooked on them, really want one but don't have the money to spend But always the future to look to!
