  1. Wow, that's extensive. So how exactly do you find that? Just tell the dealer the chassis number?
  2. How do you get under the back seat? If the car is ex-Japan will the dealer have a build sheet?
  3. Does it work when you use the directional flow buttons?
  4. Hi I'm in the market for an M-Sport BMW at the moment and have come across a few I've been keen on but I have questioned whether they are genuine M-Sport cars or if they've just been blinged in Japan by the previous owner. A few of the things I tend to look out for (but I'm not 100% sure are even true indicators are) -Motorsport badge on inside door trim -Extendable thigh support on front seats -Motorsport badge on steering wheel -Motorsport wheels etc. So I don't want to go out buying a "motorsport" car and finding it's just got a body kit on it and different wheels so if possible it'd be nice if some BMW veterans could share their experience. Thanks in advance.
  5. Bought this, can't wait to use it on the new car.
  6. what would you pay for a 205 gti? i dont have one just getting an approximate value.
  7. Hi Need to sell my E46 318Ti. I am the first NZ owner, bought ex-Japan from Turner's Auctions about 15 months ago. Has all the goodies, ABS, Traction Control, Curtain Airbags, 15" alloy wheels. Transmission is steptronic. Has low 66,000 KMS on it. Excellent condition inside and out, non-smoker's car. Has Sony headunit with AUX, NZ channels, USB etc. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions, viewing is welcome in St. Heliers, Auckland. Not interested in swaps. Looking for around $11,900 ono - priced based on similar cars on TradeMe. TradeMe listing is here.
  8. Haha I was there about 1.30 yesterday, didn't see anyone though Just saw a 1986(?) M6 in Silver on Clevedon St in Parnell - Very nice. Belong to anyone on here?

    1988 E30 Touring

Looks mint. I don't think I've ever seen an E30 Touring in Auckland which is a shame, but then again before joining this forum I wasn't really looking for them - but now, I'll keep my eyes peeled.
  10. Can you give a step by step of how you did your rear lights/indicators? It'd be greatly appreciated.
  11. I've never liked silver BMWs and I refuse to purchase one which is. If I'm going to be spending the money it may as well be on something I'm going to enjoy looking at and if that means that I have to wait for the right car to come along then so be it. In conclusion, I don't like silver BMWs.
  12. Oh damn, I was out at Botany today (I think that's near where you are based?)
  13. EDIT: The car is a 2002 BMW 318Ti E46 Periodically whilst driving these 3 lights come on at once, ABS, Traction Control and the Handbrake light. When they last came on I tested the ABS to see if it was still active despite the light being on, which it wasn't. From that I'm assuming that the traction control wasn't working either. I've found that if I turn the car off and then on again the lights go off again and the functions come back into use, I'm just wondering if anybody knows what this means? I rang Team MacMillan who were generally unhelpful and just said bring it in tomorrow but I'm assuming that if these lights come on in this combination it must mean something? Thanks in advance for any help.
