I enquired at Wolf Mufflers on Dominion Road, has a round twin tip on shelf, though said he can order the square twin tip in around $350 from memory (fitted on existing pipe)

Hi Guys, Just been looking into the idea of putting a twin tipped dtm style muffler on stock piping mainly for looks and slight sound improvement. Is it worth putting FL manifold on a PFL and a B25 stock twin piping and later change the rear muffler, as I have seen a cheap one on here, though dont want to go through the hassle if there is no advantage in doing this! Just thought if I do get a MTech1 kit, it needs a twin tip square dtm exhaust, and me being me, if it's twin tip, it should be twin pipe! lol the architect in me! Any comments appreciated.

E30 Electric Windows now just wont work
E320iCoupe replied to E320iCoupe's topic in Electrical system
lol randomly today electric windows decided to work as if there was no issue... always a + -
For some reason, the electric windows have now stopped working, they were working fine up until driving home today; not just one, but both.... any diagnosis appreciated. Note: I have checked all the fuses under the bonnet, though all looks fine. Furthermore, the central locking stopped early last week, perhaps this is a combined problem?

Id sell as is, someone will buy it and throw on a new front 1/4 plus bumper. Throw on some seat covers and a dash mat and youve got a classic daily driver. I recon it would be a pity to part it, especially a manual coupe, though thats just my opinion.

Hopefully you will still have this when i've got some extra cash are you selling the carpet too as black/grey seats and blue carpet not too good lol

Thank you Gavin, Replacement gear knob with Bimmersport discount. He also phoned around for air intake hose to see who's got one on-shelf; very helpful with pointers on other bits I asked about. Nice touch with the chocolate added as a treat for the drive home. Highly recommended for all those new hard to find engine/wear n tear items.

Some pics I took last week, and only now had time to upload. For a fussy person like me, it needs a little bit of a tidy up, but it's a 23year old car after all.

Think mine has the same problem, seems to have a slight leak too only after running.
-
When you have an answer please let me know, I have dampness in rear passengers footwell and boot too...

being me, I want the E30 Sport Seats anyone have any, I bet they're rare as hens teeth. Can I change it without dumping oil, as oils nice and clean. lol

Awsome Thankyou

Someone had left the backs off the front seats, probably looking to see how they could fix the steel frame where the top tubes have come away from the sides at the weld. I noticed that it might not be that difficult to remove the gas struts after you remove the back of the seats, and un clip the upholstery, as mine is only held to the frames by the steel spikes on the frame and the holes in the leather/vynal sides of upholstery. Hope the above helps you.

I forgot to add earlier, one of my immediate concerns is, I found where an oil leak is coming from; the Oil Pressure Sensor, when the engine is not running.... Being hopeful, I thought I might be able to just tighten it, but it appears to seep through where the plastic part and spade connector comes through. How do you take it out, I had no socket that size nor ring spanner... does repco sell the sensor if this requires replacement?
