A better pic of the 3 sripes on a white car.
-
Thats not an mtech 1 spoiler. Its just a small aftermarket spoiler Tim (bumpstop) has got one on his car.
-
Done Reminds me a little of the simpsons episode where there house ended up getting taken over by the smart computer.
-
Haha don't worry sparkle i was never intending to get it done ws just interested in them as I had never seen them before. It's not really my taste.
-
Yeah in my opinion it would only look good on a dark coloured car.
-
Saw this on a few cars whilst surfing the net. Was wondering if anyone in NZ has this on their car? From what i gathered its called a 'bad boy eyebrow'.
-
Andrew: Yeah I know but i really have no chance of owning a e30 m3 whereas my chances are higher at owning a mint e30. Just appreciating the cars that are in my range. Cheers Mavrick

You make me so jealous how you can just buy a car and then straight away make it look badass, whereas I have to save up and do little by little. Your car looks mint congrats. Cheers Mavrick

Some bastards taken the two front bilsteins outa my car and replaced them with stock bmw ones then.
-
Were the standard m325i bought out with bilstein supspension in the front and the rear or just in the rear/vice versa. Cheers Mavrick

I mean it's still on the right side of the car but on the right side of the numbers. Whereas on my car its on the right side of the car but on the left side of the numbers. Cheers Mavrick

Gus: Why is the badge put on the left so often?
-
Is this a real m325i? It doesn't have the right kit?Because thats not a mtec spoiler. And the badge on the back is on the right instead of the left of the numbers. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C.../p-20078814.htm Cheers Mavrick

I need four new tyres for my car, it's got the standard 15" basketweaves. I want to get some good performance directional tyres. At the moment it has 205/55's on it, so I went to get some quotes for the same size tyre. The guy in the first tyre shop said I had the wrong sized tyres and that I actually needed 195/65's. Then I went to a different shop and the guy there said I needed 205/65's but they had no directional tyres in that size. So can some one here tell me the correct size tyre that i need for my car (87 m325i) and the names of some good quality performance directional tyres. I'm not that knowledgeable with tyres so your help would be appreciated. Cheers Mavrick

Would this be suitable for a 2.7 conversion? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...on-53027107.htm

Nah as it's only third party at the moment. It doesnt matter though some genuine bbs wheels are on the cards now.

Well bout a month ago I asked what tsw mags were like and got told that thay were a soft mag.
-
I was going to get Kayalami's for my ride before I found out that they are known to be soft mag, but would be mint to actually see them on a e30.

In the m325i the seats are able to be positioned so that they have a bucket effect. Its a good amount of bucket not too much that you look like a 12 year old driving your parents car.
-
Sweet murks, pics would be good.

These cars are already in New Zealand I take it or do they have to be imported? And the first two m3's seeing as though theyre 1986 they will be able to be registered now, or cant they be registered till October this year? Cheers Mavrick

I am faced with recovering the front seats in my car, an '87 m325i. I was just going to get them recovered in the same bmw fabric until i found out it cost upwards of $100 a meter and I decided I didnt really like the original interior anyway. So i was thinking of getting them recovered in all black or in a 2 tone black where the inserts would be ligher colour or vice versa. I think this would give the look of sport seats in the front which i think would look good. Your Opinions........?? Cheers Mavrick
-
Yeah im not getting them now (the tsw). I thiink adaptors will be the key but the wheels will be exspensive whereas i can get cheap set of brand new lenso rs5's with good tyres which will look badass but not realy stay with the original bmw theme.
-
Yeah I don't want adaptors, dont really want to mess around with the stering setup. Konig did have the wheel "imagine" but for some reason they stopped making it, which f**ked me right off. I don't think i'll go with the tsw's now from what ive heard. Its so damn hard trying to find wheels that fit. These are the imagines
