  1. 1 “Stored offsite”

So never sold it and stuck it in a warehouse, then jacked the price.

    2 ”Great paint”

After my mate blew a quick coat of clear over it to mask the problems, should last another 12 months if kept out of the sun, see 1 above.

  2. Repco.

Priced up new brakes for the wifes Mazda, the pads were $346.

Delivered by DHL Express from Spareto, $139.

    Same brand, same part no.

Even including the discs (and the massive jump in freight cost), Spareto was $140 cheaper.

And control arm bushes for the same car at $174 for a brand I've never heard of versus $25 plus shipping.

No wonder they got the nickname.

It didn't break down did it? If it did then sure, dealer is responsible.

I’ll make it simpler. Has a component of the car failed after 3 days, having been sold by a dealer who is bound by the Consumer Guarantees Act to provide a good or product that is fit for the purpose for which it was purchased and of quality commensurate with the price paid?

    Yes.

    The dealer is responsible.

Lucky most of those cars have a spare wheels and why id never own a car that didn't have one.

That's mostly for generating revenue though so it probably is a priority, just like tossers sitting on the highways and pulling people up going 9kph over the limit.

What would you get as an alternate jack for an X5? The standard one that I’ve used once is the same as a 3 series from what I can see and it just doesn’t instil confidence in lifting the X5, even empty. I have a space saver.

watch the clip, I wonder if they even had phone recording or missed the start

what sort of new venezuela  are we becoming

    Best video commentary.

The whole network is f&&ked, NZTA came out the other day and said the reason the roads were so bad is they were making sure they got their monies worth out of what they spent on them 10 years ago. It’s beyond belief.

  7. We had a ‘93 (?) E32 730i V8, Singapore import. Ran it for 10 years and 120,000kms, nothing went wrong apart from wear and tear items , brakes, usual oil etc and a steering rack at about 160kms. Even that was cheaper than I thought it would be.

However I know first hand a few horror stories too, maybe luck of the draw/an inspection as above.

    Hi all,

Anyone have any cheap SA11 wheels available in or close to Auckland? Can be singles, odd or full sets, open to anything. Ideally not bent though 😀

    Thanks, Brad

Some on E30 Owners on Facebook. A set. Don’t know if they’re cheap.
