A good time when you consider it was probably recalled for repairs during the lap
-
I dont know all the ratios that were offered in the 320 as they were changed over time & in different markets, but 3.45 & 3.64 are two that were fitted.
-
No Andrew, the 323 with its stock engine ran a 3.46 Diff. With the 2.5L engine I put in the stock 325 diff (3.64)
-
I found the 3.46 perfect for the 2.3L, it might be a little steep for your 2.0L,but I'd give it a go
-
Usually its just the switch, swap it with one that still works to get the window up again

www.autotintdesign.com Not all the kits are on the web site ,but they show them in their adds in Total BMW magazine & Performance BMW
-
Gus they dont have a price for the front on its own but the wing is 69 pounds from Auto Tint Design, they do have a DTM style front splitter-also 69.All the following prices in pounds- M-TEC style kit 2 door 249 M-TEC style kit 4 door 269 E30 Sports kit- facelift 229(looks like rip off of factory 318iS kit) E30 Sports kit-prefacelift 229 I have no idea on the quality of the kits or shipping cost, but on the face of it they make a beaten up old kit with cracks & bits missing look pretty rude
-
Does anyone have an idea on how much it would cost to ship a kit like that from the UK.It only costs $700NZ for the whole kit over there, NEW!!!
-
Check that the AFM flap is moving freely & not binding in the full open posistion
-
Maybe the coil or ignition/fuel pump relay?
-
Yeah ,its in their damaged section-deregistered only good for parts
-
Its being auctioned at Turners tomorrow
-
Anyone want this for parts ....at least its manual.
-
your bulbs have gone ...real pain in the ass to get to, the heater controls have to come out to get to them.
-
no - hell no - thats a horrible idea. Why a horrible idea Andrew? It would thrash a 320 and handle better too...
-
Also......Factory fogs for prefacelift E30, $50 the pair.
-
Some damage to mount & adjusters, $50 the set
-
NO, auto engines dont have them
-
when you park with the car facing down hill the water pools behind the rubber seal until it overflows into the boot.Ive seen it in a few E30 even with boot seals that look to be in good condition.Park facing up hill????

The pilot bearing - goes in the snout of the crank to support the end of the gearbox input shaft

M42 140hp @6000rpm 129lb/ft @4500 weight-100kg M44 140hp @6000rpm 133lb/ft @4300 weight-102kg A E36 Ti wreck will cost anything from $1000 for one thats a real mess, to $4000 for one in perfect conditon that has failed its VIN
-
I dont have exact specs on the engine, but the IS & Ti have the same 0-100 time & the Ti has a higher top speed despite carrying more weight. The box from a facelift 316-318 E30 will fit or find a manual Ti
-
Why dont you just throw an M44 from a smashed up Ti into a E30 & build your own? Not exactly the same but near enough :mosh:

I bid on one at Turners damaged auctions about 6 months ago ,someone had tried to steal the radio & caused an electrical fire in the process.A wrecker from down the line(S.D. I think) bought it for 3K,It needed a new dash, heater controls & roof lining but was in OK condition otherwise.Last I heard it was still complete.
-
Ive got a 318 diff ,not sure on the ratio but I think its a 4.1,any use?
