  1. Aww, thanks man.

It should be fun this week altho I understand that a few bmw people have got quite a lot more hp this year. :) Ive already mucked up co driving on the first day already.... I stared reading out the touring notes for tomorow (towards pukekohe) before I realised there was no one else around us! Stupid mistale. Finaly got to the shake down stage but had opted to turn around when it was pissing down and we saw the ambulance go into to it. Aparnetly a codriver fainted but im unsure why. I hope I have a better day tomorow :o

That RS200 is awesome and the GT is way better than I thought it would be. I hope like hell it makes it to the end.

    Anyway, off to bed now.

  2. The cars been down at GAC for a bits and peices but im not sure who did the computer. I think they had some one special come in and wire it all up. Im sure graham wasnt thinking along thoses lines as im sure he would be keen for more business from my old man. That and ive only heard hes a good man who knows his stuff. But in saying that im not sure why it isnt working.

Anyway, does any one know how to do it?

  3. My dads just got his E30 back from the engine/car builder after geting some work done on it including a Link computer. Now the rev counter dosnt work and I was wondering if any one had an idea of how to wire it up. Bavarian told us to pull the inststrument cluster out and hook the two wires from the rev gauge to the coil. Easier said than done as theres about 8 or so wires coming from it. My dads thinking about putting in a big monster tach but neither of us are keen on it as it looks over the top/boyracer style.

If any one has any ideas please let me know, the car has to be ready this weekend. Usually everything wouldhave been done along time ago but we couldnt get hold of the car because the pistons took about 3 months to arive........

    Thanks for that :)

  4. Im getting over having a nice car for a daily, id rather have an old toyota or somthing similar these days, even a crappy one would do. Im probbly (unfortunatly) going to end up having a rav 4 as a daily <_< ....... But as i see it (IMO) a daily is to get you from A to B and thats it. Ive got my weekend Toys to have fun in!

  5. Hey I dont belive you have to be sory around here. You gave us an oppertunaty for people to get cheep tools. You should have realised that it was going to get you into trouble sooner or later.

silly misatke, but weve all made them before

  6. Extremely graphics right.

Strangly im not that put of by it....... Would suck to be them im sure of it, but i really should feel worse than i do.

May be too much tv

  7. Engine stands usually pull apart for storage so there not so much of a problem. But engine lifts take a huge space if they arnt able to fold up. I dont know how ofter you will be using it Gus, but i would definatly be looking at one with fold up legs. Even then they take up quite a bit of floor space.

They do make working on and pulling out engines SO much easier tho

  8. I dont know E36's at all, but clear the ignition system of water. Spark plug holes, leads, dissy, coil etc. Again i have no idea what an E36 is like, but thats what ive found to be the problem in the past.
