i would have to double check tomorrow 17x9.5 with 2 inches of dish for the rears 17x8.5 with 1.5 inches of dish for the front The spare is the same as the fronts. the fronts are 235 with the rear is 255

Hey guys, Can you tell me how much these wheels would are worth. 17" BBS Style 5 Set of 5 wheels unsure of other details, so have included some photos of them.

They also came in 16" awell, I had a set of those a few years back.

These are very rare, my mates e34 540 had a set of them. The orignal purchasing documents stated that they were a 4G option when the orignal owner brought the car from BMW. I snapped up those as fast as i could, and have been on three of my BMW's so far. The ones that i got were 17x8.5 and 17x9.5 with the 5th wheel being a 17x8.5 all are deep dish. I have not seen any more around... Beyern do a similar wheel styles. So if you cant find any, they may be a alternative option.

at work, they have had to chain the aircraft to the ground, so they dont move or fly away.

i have seen some wardens, hang round cars who's time is about to expire. its like they get a commission for the amount of cars they ticket. they dont like it, if you go ahead of them and put money in the meters for people. they get very irate

a tip for people who want to keep their details safe. burn all bank statements,power bills, anything that has your personal information on it. dont put it into the rubbish and shreading it wont help

it is supprising about what people can find out about you, esp now with websites like facebook and bebo are around. if they cant find everything about you on those sites, it gives them a good starting point. esp if they know what they are looking for, and how to use that information to find others.

I dont think the real stig is schumacher. It would be cool, if the stig was that chick the guys always race with on the neurenburg circuit. i cant remember her name, just that she was a very good driver. it would be cool as everyone assumes that the stig is a guy.

I like swearing like the next guy, however it is just manners to choose your words carefully when you are in the company of others. When we are on the drink with the boys, the language can get quite colourful. However when am in the public enviroment, my language is much more toned down. Why cant we just go to our bookshelfs (assuming everyone has a one) and get a thesaurs. The english language is a rather extensive one, where there are pleanty of ways to describe events. You could use Microsoft word, its got one on there. One of the reasons why people like topgear so much is how descriptive they can be in their articles, even how they play on words. I would think that it would be more of an acheivement to be descriptive, than to always lower our vocabulary to rambling drunks.

Those wheels use to be on Simons 540, when my flatmate use to own it. They come in a set of 5 We had a look at the original docs from when the first owner purchased the car, they were a 4 grand option. From memory. I wont be letting go of them for a while, but everyone has their price.... I think i am going to be going with simon on this one...keep them as is.

its a 3.5 straight 6. the question i want to raise is.... what center caps are better looking on the 17inch BBS 's? im 50/50 on the subject.

I put the wheels of the 7 on the 5, i have just put a new bonnet on it, and gave the whole car a cut and polish. It has made it very nice looking, i just have small dents, scratchs and that primer spot to fix up an the body work will be complete. I have the fog lights yet to install, thats a job from tomorrow night.

This is my new car, i decided i wanted to downsize from the 7 series. I got it cheap from a mate of mine, as you can tell by the condition it is in. However, all of the suspention bushes were replaced, buy the previous owner just before he sold it to me. The 7 series has become the doner for it. So it is my intent to get her back to into shape. with a bit of TLC, i may get there.

its must be a bad time for bmw's, i was driving down the motorway 2nite to go and pickup a bonnet for the 535, and there was a bmw smashed up on the motorway. it looked like it cliped the wall pretty fast.

there is a set of rally tires in my garage. dont know what car they will ever go on. or if i will ever use them

there are lots of diffrent car seats styles and types. if you go to somewhere like baby city or where-ever and try the diffrent styles. there will be one that will fit, thats what we did for our cars. worst case, you have the baby in the front seat and mrs in the back.

when i had issues in my 735, i found it to be a fulty fuse near the battery. there is two of them for the two seperate systems. my batteries werent charging properly in the car, it wouldnt start and other intermittent problems. the fuses are 80amp from memory, which is why you need a good size battery, even jump starting with smaller batteries werent drawing enough current, i had to use an aftermarket fuse and once i connected it up and got a new battery everything was fine again.

i have just aquired myself a e34 m535(Thread up soon) There is a revolution in shadows, The 5's will have enough numbers soon... Can the admin guys workout what the current standings are for each model, or will we have to run a poll?

my flatmates car just got broken into last nite, it was left out on the road as the bmw's have priority of the driveway. they smashed the back passengers window, they didnt steal anything tho... he had like 4g of preformance gear, cd's, tools etc etc etc. nothing was taken which was strange, it has an alarm but its silent. so either hey got spooked by the lights on the car flashing or somthing else spooked them, as i dont know why someone would break into a car and not take anything. i say a good beating will change someones mind about stealing. if someone breaks into my place they better hope the dog gets them before i do, as they will have a better chance of getting out with all motor functions

NZ's largest protest in recent times was one in Christchurch, protesting against the disbandment of the Air Force Skyhwaks. Just before the disbandment. A much worthier cause, and what did that acheive NOTHING.
