i was meaning which are better these wheels or the ones on my 7 now... charlies 540 interior is a light grey almost white. my interior is more tan and browns.

ive seen some on trademe... charlie got his from pitstop westgate.

where did you get that quote from to get the seats repainted. im looking at getting my leather seats repainted/ possibly have them a darker shade. cheers

The Clips and trailers look mean. I hope they dont butcher transformers like they did thunderbirds and many other childhood classics. I wonder if they will bring out a HE-MAN and masters of the universe movie.

i have a set from repco the jack and axle stands.they are perfectly fine and they get used every day. the only problem is that the jack is too high, and cannot get it under some cars like my 735 or my mates crx. which can be a real pain, i suppose thats what you get when you have lowerd cars. the 300 axle stands can support the 735 without any drama of them straining.so it should be a problem for any other bmw. try and go for a racing jack if you can.it is the next on my list in the way of equipment purchases

Work uses Snap-on tools for just about everything. where as i own Powerbuilt. I think as long as the tools have a life-time warranty on them, then you are pretty safe to use them. If they break, just take them back and get new ones for free ;D

Go and see the guys at Slammed Kustoms and Whenuapai auto refinishers they are just outside whenuapai airforce base. They are good, all they guys on base, go to them.

its good to see more 7 series bmws. nice ride btw. If you need parts for it, i have got a parts hack 7 series. I brought a whole 89 735i for $800, it was dereg and nil wof. so i started pullin to to bits and using all the mint parts to fix up mine one. There still is heaps of bits. saves trying to search for parts.

i normally service mine on base. we got all the tools etc to do it. the last time i worked on it was in 5 SQN hanger. it was cool. i have center caps for them, but the center fastners are painted gold, so they look gay. we have come to the conclusiont that they look meaner without center caps. mine dosnt realy chew the gas, i did a trip from base to kerikeri and back on $80 gas. so it isnt too bad. its just the town driving that chews it.

I did a tint to my indicators, they came up mint. me and sparkle got some of that spray on tint and did the indicators like E30stz. i also did the front and rear indicators. as as long as you dont go over the top then they will be fine. i did my front and rear ones with 4 coats of light spray, so they kept the glossy look. Also they dont make them stand out too much. Heres a pic of the finished job,

i still have the old wheels, they are up for sale, if anyone wants them. just give me an offer. i smoked the orange part of the rear lights, and the fronts indicators. just enuf so they didnt get a matt finish on them.
