what those protested failed to realise that, their protest had rather dire consequences. A tanker carring LOX, required desperately by north shore hospital was stuck in traffic for 5 hours.Thate the only one that i know of. im sure there was other things like ambo's need to get where they are required. the cops should have charged eveyone of them. civil disobedience is still a crime. protesting is fine. but there is a time and a place. Parliment has got large steps, so go there. if your cause is worthy enough and if enough people are support it, then you will still get your 2min of fame.

my house got broken into a few months back. the dog was tied up on a "council regulated dog run" which they need to be on when you are not at home. now we let the dog roam free around the property. no problems since. he is a geman shepard cross with a rotweiler. if we arnt home and he dosnt know you, he will not let you even try and open the gate. however if he knows you, he thinks mint someone to play with me.lol dogs are the best home security system ever. and we sometimes offer to loan him out to female mates, if they are going to be home by themselfs for a while. For just peice of mind for their partners and them. As cops take far to long to respond, because people tie them up with trivial cr@p. In married quaters (airforce housing)outside the airforce base(which i currently live in),Airsecurity will be on the scene in 2-5min of something being called in. which also helps .

my flatmate got "invited" to attend the bridge crossing, he thought sweet a chance to run accross the brigde etc. As they were inviting schools buisnesses etc, so he thought it was legit. it wasnt until about a few days later it was a protest. He was not impressed about how they were advetising it, he would have been even more pissed off about it if he had turned up to find out it was a protest. they should have jumped off the bridge while they were there.

using at tuck you will be paying lots, as you need to use a car transporter or a tuck that take trailers with car access. unless you want them to use a forklift on your car. which isnt ideal.

when you freight company, take pictures of everything before hand, make sure you have a complete inventory. make sure everything is secure(drawers taped up), dont label what is inside boxes. try are wrap up everything. make sure it is insured check everything when you get it at the other end. any freight company is decent. i have had alot to do with mainfreight. they are pretty good. depending on the amount you could get it sent down by train( even the car) we have done that a few times. had a car moved and packed it up with gear. we sent a 47 international 1 ton pickup from auckand to timaru full of gear. it costed $400 on the train. to give you a ruff guide on cost.

Gas dosnt always work. some people dont have any effects with gas. Gasing wont always make the person come out, it may just piss them off. Gas is more incapacitating. Being gased with CS hurts like hell. It starts off being a tingling sensation, then the burning pain starts. Your eyes begin to sting and start tearing up. you begin to breath more heavily, which makes it wose as your throat and lungs begin to start burning with pain. you being to create exess mucus and saliva. Finally you start having coffing fits. It isnt like in the movies or tv. The Cops know what they are doing, it wont be a dramatic ending like on TV or the movies.

i fully agree with simon's comments. The main reason why they dont go storming in, because thats how more people get killed. Americans show us that on a daily basis. Also, you have john cambell and his mate with cameras filming everything. the last thing the cops need is media filming more people getting killed or injured. All everyone can do is hope that there is no more casulties, and it gets resolved with justice prevailing.

Lets just be glad that helen clark isnt in power, thats is the kind of legislation she would get on the band wagon for. You dont see guys wanting to be hosts on programs like the Veiw, for good reason. Mythbusters are one of few show that pull off chick on a guys show. But that is because she knows what she is talking about and is attractive . Unlike what i have seen of their rival show smash lab, the chick on that show is only there for her looks. her lines seem very scripted. As for topgear, all those guys are very experinced and have a truckload of degrees and qualifications between them. I think it would be hard to find an attractive woman who would be in the same league with them, not to mention have the same infactuation with cars.

Nuclear power is the way of the future, in either fission or fusion forms. Especialy with battery powerd cars, buses, trucks etctrying to make it mainstream. Its a nice idea making hybrid and full battery powerd vehicles, but where is that extra power demand going to come from. Not from our current sources, they can barely keep up. The north Island is so reliant on south island power, becuase the north cannot produce enough. Thats my two cents worth.

Well, i purchased an ouput shaft seal for the gearbox and used the back end of the old one. However i have run into another problem, the lines to the transmission cooler have got a diffrent thread to them. Which is anoying to say the least, all i have left to sort is the selecter cable and this new problem. then its finished. Anyone who gets a second hand 4hp22 gearbox may want to check it with your gearbox and not make the amature mistake i made by not doing my research and checking properly. But hey we learn from our mistakes.... well sometimes

Hey guys I brought a second hand gearbox for my E32 735i, it was aparently from a e28. I needed a pre 1988 4HP22 Gearbox as the pre 88 has got 7 pins, where as the post 88 has got 8 pins. After some agonising effort my uncle and i managed to get the old gearbox off. We have come across a few issues; 1: The two brackets that attach the Gearbox mounts to the gearbox are closer together, so the gearbox mounts dont mount up to my crossmember. 2: The Selector on the side of the gearbox is on the other side, to my gearbox. This may not have been too much of an issue, however unlike my gearbox where you can take out the cap on the other side of the gearbox, switch the shaft over. Thus changing the side of the gearbox that the selector is positioned. However it seems that the E28 was never ment to be both left hand drive and right hand drive. The groves are there but the holes are yet to be tapped. We are hoping that problem 2 will be remided by the cable being long enuf to reach the other side, or we may have to do a quick modification. Can anyone advise on if they have come accross this issue and know of any solutions? As for problem one. Does anyone know if an E34 or E28 4HP22 gearbox crossmember will fit a E32. Otherwise i think i will have to take the back end off my buggerd gearbox and put it on the new one. But i will need to replace the output shaft seal, which i had already done because we had given the gearbox a service in prep for going into the car. As for the old Gearbox, the oil was BLACK, there was enuf metal in the pan to make a new cross member, The output shaft seal was degraded you could hardly call it an elastomeric. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as we will be hoping to continue work tomorrow morning. Cheers

There are a few small charter companys that flys very small aircraft out of welly. They are normally cessna sized. Good for cheap flights accross the ditch. They are good fun to be in when it gets windy or starts gettin ruff. (poor aircraft get throwen around like rag dolls.) Sometimes it feels like a tactical flight in a C 130 hercules

540si's 5 series had those bbs wheels on it, but charlie put those beyren wheels on it. i put charlies bbs wheels on my 7. they are the best wheels out, alot harder to lose traction with them on, because of the nice wide footprint. awesome for when you need the grip on the road.

hey guys could you please help me with this small problem. when I modified the suspention on my bmw, i put in monroe shocks and pedders springs. however i had problems with it. they wernt realy up to the job. the ride was rather uncomfortable and bouncy, not to mention sluggish handling. So i went about the task of putting the factory struts in from my parts hack, this has brought back all ride quality and handling. I realy liked the look, when i was low, but i think it looks alrite as,is. I was thinking that it mite look good half way between the two. how could i go about producing the desired result? have u guys got any ideas on suspention combinations that would work.
