Yeah that's what I thought as well but have being looking at picture's of bmw diff's on the diff PDF that's stickyed in this section and it's the one I've got looks idetical to a large case. It has a finned back cover on it...........

Just picked up that e28 528i LSD that I found on trademe. He advertised it as meadium case 3,07. But after closer inspection it looks like a large case 210 diff. Can I still swap this into my e30?. The e30 was a 320i so I think my diff is a little one. Not sure as was dark when I got back so will have a look tommorow. Thanks

NAh I'm running my original e30 gearbox. I've read on other forums that this ratio is good for my swap. The diff I've got is a 3.64 so I wouldn't have thought thered be that much of a change

Just bought myself a e28 Lsd. I read that you can swap the back cover and output flange's with my e30 diff's one's and it bolt's straight in. meduim case s,3,07VO79 Should go well with the new found power of my 2.5 m50

Haha what do you have to sound like to own a race car???? I've got a 96 wrx for my rally car in which I lead my local club in the point's table avgas forge's 18psi. The E30 is deffinatly my favorite car and yes it is my dailydriver but since putting this m50 in it's just become a one wheel wonder. I used to have a RB30 turbo VL commodore which I welded the diff up on. As you said harsh on componant's but componant's can be replaced. Driiven correctly way more fun than a open Diff. What's everyone's thoughts..... Street Car or Race Car I rekon two wheels is better than one

Cause e30 Limited slip's are so hard to find and when you do you have to morgage your house to buy one what doe's everyone rekon? f**k it and welded it up or save and get a Lsd....

Yeah I agree with you guys I only paid $50 bucks for it so I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm going to buy another ecu and install it in that and see what happens. This guy I bought it off rekon's he's had good result's from his installation into his e36 but obviously I have not seen this with my bare eye's hence my suspision. Yeah there's no way I would have chucked it in without some research

Got it from a guy off tradme. He bought it for is e36 but his motor was vanos and this chip is for non vano's apprently. So he bought another one and sold this to me. He's given me instructions on how to solder it into the ecu but other than that no other information.

I'm looking for someone who is recking a 92 e34 2.5m50 non vanos. I am after the big round plug that sit's on the firewall and the motor harness plugs into it. I've put a m50 in my e30 and am trying to make my own wiring adaptor. Thanks

Mate I used to work for novas windscreens. You are right and they should fit you in as your "job" has not technically being finished. If we ever had a leak come back we would stop what we were doing and fix somthing that we obviously didn't fix properly the first time. Know what I mean? Problem with smith and smith is that they do so many screen's a day the guys are usually under pressure and rushing what they are doing and not making sure that they are doing it right the first time. So yeah my advice. Complain about the bitch that served you and demand that it be done straight away. Also smith and smith are responsible for anydamage caused by their f**kup. ie, rust, water damaged carpet etc.
