This gearbox will fit..... You will have to modify the mounts and crossmember and shift selector rod as the your m50 engine sit's on 10 degrees more slant than the m20 that gearbox is off of. You will also need to drill some holes in the base of the bell housing .. pedal box..hydralic cylinders slave and master..... clutch flywheel...bearings... centre console etc. Mate the list goes on. My advice would be to keep your auto or sell it and buy a allready manual e36 325i.

I live in whangarei and luv hamwallet, What you rekon Shelley?

I'm using my e30 zf 5spd box. (yeah strange it ain't a getrag aye). Looking for a 3.64 or around there somewhere

f**k I wish I could just get rid of my large case and get a f**kin proper e30 medium case diff!!!

Depends on what sort of noise and performance you want. I'm putting a 2 1/2" on my 2.5m50 and custom headers.. planning on a few mods here and there and I like it loud...

Haha Didn't end up getting that one in the first picture. He'd allready sold it to a mate and relisted by accident. Ended up buying this. From a guy in auck's that fab's them up and flicks them on trademe. Includes filter and fittings... Very impressed $100 incl
-
Yeah man nice. You've done alot of work there............
-
Ha ha look what I found on trademe for $20. Gonna Clean it up and paint it black no one will even notice

Most aftermarket Pads don't quite fit perfectly into the e30 calipers. You can buy this brake pad adhesive sh*t that you spray on the back of the pad and it make's it stick to the caliper and prevents pad rattle and most movement.. Worked a treat for me got it from BNT in whangarei

Yes cheers Very informative

Flag the m50 or m52 bmw motor. Mate if you were considering putting a rb26dett in it wait cause you can buy a s52 3.2ltr m3 engine. These are hand built 320hp N/A's. Turbo that!! I've seen on the net people getting 800hp on standard internals.... If you gotta a beamer put a beamer motor in it..... Or a rota but not a f**king japper motor (even though theiy have good cheap power and reliabilty)

Just being looking on the R3v forums where I posted pic's of my intake and they metioned that I can't have a bend before my airflow meter as it cause's turbulance and it won't get accurate readings. Can anybody elaborate on this??? Do you need to have straight pipe before the AFM?? They also mentioned breather lines.... What are these and where do I need to put them?? Bare in mind I'm still using the stock ecu

Currently own a 89 e30 with 2.5 nonvanos m50 swap. Had a VL holden commodore 87 with rb25det swap. Plus Link, Front mount, Bov, clutch welded diff etc Mitsibishi evo 2 1994 mitsibishi mivec 1.6 1993 Honda Integra 1994 1.8 vtec All cars' are and were manuel transmissions and ever since owing that commie I've being hooked on rear wheel drive and since my bimmer only cost $500 so thought it would make for another good project car......

Was feeling pretty proud of myself after this............... I've never attempted constructing this sort of thing as I've also had a pretty good paying job so just paid kunt's to do it Parts: 2x 3" mandrel bends stainless 3x rubber silicone joiner's & Hose clamps 1x K&N Filter Had to do a bit of measuring and cutting to make the bends fit, hole sawed a 3/4" hole and welded small tubing to base of the bend coming off the throttle body for a vaccum line. Plumbed off the vac hose for the charcol filter and made up a catch can for the block oil bleed off hose. All up I think this cost me about $180 plus about 6hrs to fit it all. f**k these hiny's are going down well.......... time for a joint Note: pic's are during fitting hence why everything ain't hose clamped up

Is your e34 a auto??? If that's the case it's a 4L30E(GM Type) I have a 2.5 nonvanos m50 in my 89 e30. if you've got any questions on mod's just holla
-
Haha I'm running my 2.5 m50 with custom gearbox crossmember, all legal without a cert in my 89 320i.. Painted everything black went up a dirty muddy road took it in for a warrent and they flew it threw no questions asked, Oh they were worried about the change in engine numbers and I just said it was a direct replacement of the old motor,,, hahah old kunt's don't even no what they looking at.
-
Haha yeah bro They all fake's I downloaded one and it was a video of some dude licking some other dude's ass.... f**k Looking up and finding that shet f**king disturbing actually
-
Hahaha yeah bro go M50 I'm speaking from experience.... Thought about sticking with the m20 but I picked my non vano's m50 up for around $1000 with everything and it's cost me about another $2300 and some of my time to get it in. Plus with the strong rod's in the non vanos m50 I can think about forced induction plans once petrol is cheaper.

Senna's death wasn't caused by a steering column failure,it was holding torque at the moment of impact. His accident was caused by the Car bottoming out [due to tyre shrinkage while the safety car was out] and resulting in a sudden loss of downforce. [The was the findings of the Italian Courts] Yeah Kerrys right aye. I've seen a documentry on history channel. It shows his car skipping out due to the bottoming out then with his lightening fast reactions trys to counter steer the slide but then the car grips the road again and he turns himself straight into that wall. A simple case of over correcting at almost 300kmh... Ouch that was a hell of a bang,,,, see how far he bounced back off the barriers. Sennas last lap you've being warned (martyn) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PuN_TGxGlK4
